  Forget everything you know about standard food tours—this was like spending an afternoon with an old friend! Our host shared so many personal stories and hidden gems that we never would have found on our own. The Dalian Huoshao was life-changing, and the 'mystery dish' was such a fun highlight. If you want to feel like a Beijing local rather than just a tourist, this is the one to book!

  If you’re visiting Beijing, book a food tour with Go2 China — you won’t regret it. JJ was amazing, full of local knowledge and positive energy. The food was authentic and delicious: dumplings bursting with flavor, sweet tanghulu, and the most tender roast duck. We also learned so much about hutong culture and local dining customs.   Go2 China made our Beijing trip unforgettable. JJ went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Every meal felt like a celebration — tender dumplings, flavorful noodles, crispy duck, and those adorable candied hawthorns! JJ shared so much about Chinese traditions, and her passion was infectious. Go2’s service was top-notch, from communication to follow-up.   Go2 China planned our trip beautifully — everything was organized down to the last detail. JJ was such a warm and knowledgeable guide, always attentive and kind. The food tour was beyond expectations: delicious hotpot, traditional snacks, and the most perfect roast duck I’ve ever had. I’ll never forget tasting tanghulu for the first time — sweet, crunchy, and so fun! Thanks to Go2 China, we saw a side of Beijing we wouldn’t have found on our own.

  Our Beijing experience with Go2 China was absolutely amazing! Fiona made everything so smooth and enjoyable. From the very beginning, communication was easy and every detail was perfectly organized. The food tour was our favorite part — handmade dumplings, rich zhajiangmian, crispy Beijing roast duck, and even tanghulu (candied hawthorn) on the street! Fiona shared the stories behind each dish, making every bite even more meaningful. We left full, happy, and deeply impressed by Beijing’s food culture.

  The tour was brilliant Jenny tailored it to my dietary preferences and offered her choices and recommendations throughout the tour. Her recommendations were guided purely by how good the food is a true foodie!! Each dish was delicious and Jenny's insight into Beijing culture was brilliant. I learnt so much that felt had been in Beijing for weeks even though was only on my first day!! had such a wonderful time, and l'd say this tour is the one must-do tour if you're in the city. It captured the essence of Beijing. Getting to know the local culture with a local through food - it doesn't get better than that.

  I was met promptly by my host, Jenny. It had been raining heavily throughout the day, but right on cue the rain stopped, as if it knew we were about to embark on a street food tour. Jenny had planned our route perfectly, with each dish complimenting the previous dish, and the restaurants being truly authentic Chinese. She offered the choice of the food to be fairly simple, moderate, or challenging - I chose moderate, and was not disappointed. Each dish was delicious, and I tried some foods I had seen before but had been too nervous to order, on the basis that if I didn’t like it, I didn’t have to finish it. However, I finished every dish completely, even though I was full to bursting 😅 Jenny even sent me away with a ‘doggy bag’ to finish later in my hotel, plus a presentation box of mooncakes and some special Chinese tea. It was a very enjoyable evening which I would heartily recommend !
