Yalahau Lagoon

Just 30 minutes by boat from Holbox is the Yalahau Cenote (Ojo de Agua), a place with fresh waters that, according to legends, have strange properties, as they say that when submerged in them, people will feel as if they had 10 years less. Ojo de agua is a large natural pool where fresh water flows, surrounded by plants, trees and shrubs, which you can see from the highest point of the viewpoint located here.

Isla De La Pasion

Isla Pasión is a small islet that is 10 minutes from Holbox by boat. It is said that it was the corner of lovers and hence the name. It is the ideal place to enjoy virgin beaches, the sun and the sea; for its calm atmosphere and its tropical adventure space, far from civilization.

    Emanuel was incredible - he cared so much about the ecology of the islands and the conservation and was able to give us lots of information about the birds, the land, the water etc. such and fantastic experience! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

    The tour was described as having a bilingual guide. We didn't have a guide. Ibwas the only English speaker on the tour and ot was simply a case of going from one island to another and me having to try and figure out how long we had on each island.

  • The staff was very good. We had three walks. One of them to an island with a commercial structure. Many people in the same cenote.

    Best bilingual tour guide, she was knowledgeable and very kind. The captain made us feel safe. The tour guide speaks french, english and spanish

    Wonderful experience, very friendly tour, guide and boat driver! We were able to see flamingos, get out and enjoy walking on the sandbar, swimming in the cenota . It was hard for my husband and myself to get in and out of the boat, especially when we were in the water. We both are 75. So a bad knee arthritis and being overweight was not helpful. but was very enjoyable and glad we went and were able to see and do as much as we could!!!!!❤️

    Make sure you are dressed and prepared to wade or swim in the beautiful waters. This boat tour includes getting off at the islands and going into the water. I will be better prepared next time. It was a beautiful experience being on the water on the boat.
