Cabo Catoche is located precisely where the Gulf of Mexico ends and the Caribbean Sea begins.
Cabo Catoche can only be reached by boat from Holbox. It is a semi-uninhabited island where only a family of fishermen lives, who will be our hosts on this excursion.
Where nature is its best guest, the birds feel free, the trees and bushes provide refreshing shade, while the soft sand invites you to walk on the shore,
The perfect place for fishing, snorkeling and a fresh ceviche with the catch of the day, without a doubt an adventure that you cannot miss.

The first stop will be to go fishing where you will get to know the best fishing spots in the company of our local guides and captains who will pass on the secrets of good fishing and you will have the opportunity to experience a close encounter with the wonderful marine life of Holbox such as the dolphins that appear to surprise us on many occasions. Our guides will share the most used and ancient techniques to catch small and medium-sized fish such as sea bass, grouper, snapper, blonde, chac chi and mojarra, among others, enough to prepare a delicious ceviche.
Later we go to another Cabo Catoche nature reserve, some beautiful marine cuevones where we will snorkel where with a little luck we will be able to observe some catsharks, manta rays, seahorses, parrotfish, starfish and many species of fish.

5.00This is an incredible little adventure. Here are the bullet points: boat out toward the northern eastern part of the island and you get to fish by hand! Our group had a great time!(be cautious if you get motion sickness). We then went to the point where they prepared the fish we had caught into the FRESHEST ceviche. We enjoyed a cold beer and a nice hammock siesta. We would Def do this again!

5.00An amazing experience, we loved the boat trip, seeing dolphins in your habitation is exciting. Fishing and getting the ceviche prepared in Cape Catoche, amazing. Swim with manta fish and small sharks. Impressive. Enrique and his partner have joined us to make the experience 100x100 recommendable.

5.00The journey was a bit long, but it was absolutely worth it. Enrique helped us fish and explained how to do it. I caught 3 fish. I am satisfied, I recommend it.

5.00Enrique was our guide, we saw dolphins, stripes we swim with cat sharks, Service was great, we had slightly displaced waves on the return but it was very fun that enrique helped me fish excellent, I would return without hesitation.

1.00We were apparently waiting for a pick up at the wrong entrance to the hotel, we were then accused of being a 'no show'. We are currently trying to get our money back but this proving very difficult, no updates on this so far. Be very careful to confirm every small detail before booking, also probably better to book direct than to through a booking agency

4.00Very nice as an excursion, the captain took good care of us and explain the scenery. We were still 11 on the boat including the captain which is a lot, but the day went very well

5.00Excellent adventure! We had booked on a day that was canceled due to wind and they happily moved us to another day. Boat trip was awesome and fishing was fun!
