Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from hotels in Tirana. The tour takes you through scenic landscapes, where every turn offers a new breathtaking view.
Upon arrival at Bovilla(1.5 hours), you'll be greeted by the tranquil beauty of the lake, set against the backdrop of towering mountains. Here, a guided nature walk/hike awats. Throughout the day, enjoy breaks at panoramic viewpoints, each offering a unique perspective of the lake's vast expanse and the surrounding natural wonders.
As the tour concludes, you'll carry back not only photos, but a deeper appreciation for the natural and cultural treasures hidden in the Albanian landscape.

1. THIS IS A REAL HIKE OF APPROXIMATELY 2 KM AND VERY DIFFICULT IN HOT WEATHER. A GOOD LEVEL OF FITNESS IS NEEDED FOR THE TOUR!!
2. THE ROAD TO BOVILLA LAKE IS UNPAVED AND REALLY BUMPY
3. TIPS FOR THE DRIVER AND THE GUIDE ARE NOT INCLUDED

Afte the pick up we will drive for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach our first photo stop at the canyon. Here the travellers will have a chance to take photos for about 10 minutes.
Lake Bovilla
After the stop at the canyon the next stop will be at the dam of the Bovilla Lake. The hike will start from here.

5.00Best important and more prepared was guide Dario, he speak with us , he told us a short history lesson about Albany , he eas helpful and was asking and was waiting about everyone if member group . The driver little worse spieszył się i nie bardzo uważał podczas jazdy but was ok, when we were comming back he change his mind. Thank you

5.00The lake is a beautiful landscape. A lot of greenery with a great view. Those who do not want to hike all the way to the top can take a break in the middle under the trees or in a restaurant with a great view of the lake. A beautiful day trip. Our guide Belkisa was super friendly and shared many interesting facts about the tour, Albania, and Tirana. It was excellent!

5.00It was a beautiful lake and an amazing view. The hike was also very good. Our guide Belkisa picked us up from the hotel we were staying which was very convenient. It was a brisk place to go for a sunny day.

5.00Very nice tour. Although it is strenuous, as there are about 250 meters of elevation gain that are steep in parts, the view compensates for the effort. Good driver (Bledii), very nice guide (Antil).

5.00Great trip with amazing views throughout. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly from start to finish. The guide (Belinda) was friendly, helpful, and communicated clearly the whole time, which made the experience even better. A really enjoyable trip overall.

2.00Nothing but a shared (and expensive) taxi between Tirana and the lake. Absolutely no explanation or assistance on site. Travelers were forgotten both on the outbound and return journeys: simply providing a meeting point and counting the guests before the bus departs was not part of the plan. Luckily, some travelers were thoughtful 😅 We do not recommend this "tour."
