Between the Lines Winery
Owned by two brothers Greg and Yannick Wertsch, their vision for Between The Lines is to continue to build a winery rooted in the principles of innovation. We want to challenge the boundaries of Niagara winemaking and offer our guests and drinkers a dynamic experience. Regardless of what is going on at the winery, the best part of my day is taking visitors on tour of our property and walking them through a wine tasting. The looks on their faces when they taste that one wine they’ve been looking for is what makes this all worth it.

4.00This was a nice activity. The host was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable about the winery. The wines were of good quality. I feel that the atmosphere could have been a little more comfortable and inviting. The chairs were not comfortable and the table needed adjusting because it rocked back and forth. This was a problem because it almost spilled the wine. Maybe add some sofas and mire intimate seating?

3.00The wine tasting was okay...nothing more. From a 2 page list of wines, we were not given a choice of wines to taste. 3 wines were chosen for us and the wines were okay. The cheese and meat board was plentiful and delicious.

5.00Superb wine tasting with picnic option. Our dog was admitted even inside with a bowl of water. Explanations and food/wine pairings just perfect. I highly recommend it. Thanks to the staff for guiding us well

5.00Excellent experience. Tasted wines were excellent (bought 3 bottles to bring home) and the charcuteries were amazing (and so were the cheeses). Shout out to Elaine our host who made this experience super fun with her information and humor. She even added some french when she discovered that we were visiting from Quebec. An appreciated touch 😍
