Plaza De Mayo
The May Square is located in the Porteño Downtown, neighborhood of Monserrat, in the area where the foundation of Buenos Aires took place. The Plaza de Mayo is the most important and oldest public square of the city. The name of this square commemorates the Revolution of May 25, 1810, date in which the citizens gathered around to expel the Viceroy and form a creole government. Since then, the Square has been a silent witness to the most important political and social events in the country.
San Telmo
San Telmo is an old neighborhood with a bohemian touch thanks to its temporary art galleries, night bars and street murals. The Defensa street, full of antique shops and bustling brasseries, passes through the Dorrego square, where many tourists come on Sundays to see the street market and street performances. Winding roads run through Lezama Park among jacaranda trees. The neighborhood is full of exclusive restaurants with tango shows.

5.00Overall a great experience. Orianna was our guide and she was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. She really helps you understand the overall context behind the founding of Buenos Aires. Overall, a superb guide. Our driver was also great and very accommodating. We were picked up from our accommodation promptly and on time. Overall, would recommend this to anyone interested in learning about the history of BA

5.00Alessandra is a fantastic guide! She is very knowledgeable and inclusive. Clearly she loves the city and her job! We had a fun group, only 10pp. Delicious food and drink at each stop. Generous portions of both! Great way to sample the city. Alessandra made it fun for all!

5.00Very comprehensive tour of Montevideo with our guide Vivi who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her country and culture. Makes no sense to do a big impersonal ships tour at double the price when you can do this and still be back for lunch!

5.00Great! The tour organisers were accommodating. We wanted to meet the tour at Plaza De Mayo to start because we wanted to attend mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral first. Our tour guide met us at a nearby hotel after our church service and even organise a separate transport back to our hotel. The information in the City Tour Highlights was also very informative. I now have a better appreciation and understanding of the local history and culture. Thank-you so much ❤️

5.00This is a nice city tour of Bueno Aires to get a sense of the city. It’s good since you can get some information and decide what you want to explore further. Cynthia was our tour guide and she was very informative and helpful.
