Enjoy a full-day, shared tour and visit the town of San Antonio de Areco , which is one of the most traditional in the Pampas. You will get to know the history and development of the Argentinian pampas and the lifestyle of the Gauchos.
Choose between our Original Day at Farm option, where you will visit the Estancia El Ombu, the most popular ranch in town, or the Classic option, in which you will visit an alternative family-owned ranch. Both are located in San Antonio de Areco for more than 50 years, a small and countryside village around a 1-hour drive from the city.

5.00Highly recommend. Good food, especially the empanadas. Loved all the entertainment. Horse back riding was ok. Very tamed horses. Everyone was so accommodating. Enjoy this adventure.

4.00The horse ride was relatively short, would have preferred longer. The horses were incredible though, super laid back and easy to ride. The horse carriage experience was ok, but the driver didn't speak any English, so that was hard. The elder gaucho that played and sung for us was a treat, not because of the music necessarily, but because of hearing about his decades of gaucho life. The lunch was good, and the dancing was fine (I'm not a dancer). It would have been more fun to spend more time with the horses. The guide who took us there and back was nice, though she needs to understand it would be difficult for Americans to share a straw with 12 people drinking from one mate cup.

5.00It is a pleasant day, though very hot in summer. Horse or buggy ride, entertainment, welcome empanadas and wine, tour of ranch, and a very big lunch with as much wine as you can drink!

5.00Our guide Vanessa was exceptional, kind, and always attentive to everyone. The day at the Estancia was unforgettable; the gauchos tending the horses were very attentive and made our day wonderful, as did all the staff at the Hacienda. Thank you to everyone at the Hacienda for making this a day to remember.

5.00Absolute delight from start to finish. A warm, friendly reception; great food; great entertainment; and a gentle horse ride (first time on a horse for me but it was great - the horse knows where to go). Highly recommended.
