The Tigre Delta Tour includes navigation through the beautiful Tigre River Delta in a Premium boat, choose between a 2-hour boat ride covering the North of Buenos Aires continuing through the 'Delta': a series of narrow channels and islands; or a 1-hour navigation by the beautiful previously mentioned Tigre's Delta.
After arriving at Tigre have an optional Empandas snack in a local and elegant restaurant of the city continuing with Victorica Avenue: get to know the coastal walk that borders the Luján River to reach the elegant gardens that surround the headquarters of the Tigre Deliberative Council and the Tigre Art Museum.

Delta El Tigre
After pickup at 9am, head to the city’s port to board a first-class motor launch which will take you to the Tigre Delta. During the 1.5-hour trip, admire Buenos Aires from the Rio de la Plata (River Plate), its northern areas and the channels of the Delta, while enjoying refreshments on board.
Enjoy a snack at Vivanco restaurant trying some hand-made empanadas. Be welcome to a sensory, friendly, fresh and natural environment located within one of the emblematic rowing clubs of the city of Tigre.

5.00Our tour guide was Oriana, she was very friendly and explained the whole tour very well. The boat ride was amazing, seeing the beautiful nature and the houses and docks along the river, had a tasty lunch and experienced some unique shopping! It was a tour we we enjoyed and and with our tour guide Oriana, everything went smoothly!
Tigre was a fun adventure.

5.00We enjoyed our experience. The transfer was very convenient. Our guide Ana was very positive and had a great sense of humour. One hour on the boat was enough to see the lifestyle of people living on the islands. Yes, it was not a private boat and there were other people on it too, but I managed to change my seat many times, walk around and get all the photos I wanted. It was a bit of a disappointment that so many stalls in the market were closed, but it is understandable as it was the middle of the working day. We still managed to walk around and get ice cream. Overall if you want a tour where you don’t have to worry about anything and just go along and see something, this is a very good option :)

4.00The Tigre Delta Small-Group Tour was a refreshing change from the bustle of Buenos Aires. The casual boat cruise through several of the delta’s waterways offered a relaxing way to take in the scenery while learning how many of the city’s wealthy residents spend their weekends. It was fascinating to see beautifully maintained homes sitting side-by-side with the eerie charm of a ship graveyard—an unexpected contrast that adds character to the area. The stop at Puerto de Frutos Market was interesting, though it’s definitely more lively on weekends. Even so, it offered a glimpse into local crafts and culture. Our guide, Carolina, was excellent—informative, friendly, and full of local insights and customs that really brought the region to life. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking to explore beyond the city.

1.00Our tour guide was terrible, acted liked he didn’t want to be there. Don’t engage with the group at all, didn’t even sit with us during the snack. There was very little to do on the trip it was a short boat ride and 1 stop. Most disappointing experience of our trip to Buenos Aires.

1.00This was a disappointing experience. We spent the vast majority of time on a boat that seemed to go in a large circle. There was little scenery and little explanation of what we were seeing. As we approached the town, we saw many destroyed docks and rusted ship hulks. By the time the boat docked, we only had time to look at a defunct casino and eat our snack. Then it was time to return to the city. This excursion is not worth the money.
