  What an absolutely fantastic day out. We’re a family of six (two adults and four kids aged 9–16) and every single one of us loved both experiences from start to finish. The taxi transfers were punctual, comfortable, and completely hassle-free. Everything ran smoothly with no stress at all. For the buggies, we were encouraged to buy goggles and bandanas for the dust, but we didn’t bother and were absolutely fine. A decent pair of sporty sunglasses (Oakley-style) did the job perfectly. The safari itself was on private roads, so there were no traffic concerns. The convoy was led very safely—perhaps a touch too safely for me—but my wife and youngest were more than happy, which says it all! The buggy resort itself is stunning; it’s genuinely hard to do it justice with words. After the safari, we enjoyed a traditional show followed by a swim in a freshwater cave. This was utterly breathtaking—cool, crystal-clear water, incredibly refreshing, and even a DJ playing while we swam. After changing, we were treated to beautiful food in a spotless, welcoming restaurant. Our transfer then arrived right on time and took us to the beach. The driver guided us safely through the shops and stalls and made sure we were checked in properly with the Happy Fish reps. After a short 5–10 minute wait, our catamaran arrived. We were welcomed onboard warmly and given a quick, friendly safety briefing—and then the real fun began. The catamaran crew were absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was genuinely family-friendly, and everyone was made to feel included. Drinks flowed freely—beer, soft drinks, and Dominican rum—and even the kids were looked after brilliantly, which isn’t always the case on excursions like this. Our glasses were never empty for long! I honestly can’t praise the crew enough. They seemed to instinctively know how to engage with everyone, at the right moments, regardless of age. The snorkelling was safe and crew-led, and all four of our kids jumped straight in and followed them confidently while my wife and I relaxed with a drink and took in the views. Once everyone was settled, the music picked up, snacks were served, and the diving board and slides were opened—pure fun for all ages. After we’d eaten and relaxed, we moved to shallower waters where we anchored and the floating bar came out. Other boats from different companies joined us, and while they all looked fun, we were so glad we were with Happy Fish. Some of the others were full-on party boats or completely empty, whereas this was the perfect balance for a family. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. We made some truly unforgettable core memories—especially for our kids—and that’s priceless. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
