False advertising

1.00This company is terrible. I had booked for January wanting to do the ice explorer in the Colombia Icefields. The itinerary included this… however upon further research on other websites, I have discovered that this attraction is closed during this month. NO WHERE does it state on this tour that it will be closed and other attractions will be visited in its place. If I had not done this research and gone on this tour, I would not have known that the reason for booking this tour was not possible. And instead to go lakes I have already visited. Other companies that include this attraction write in their descriptions that during this month it will be replaced by something else. So it is possible to inform customers before hand. I called the company to clarify, and they said oh yeah we just go somewhere else. It’s infuriating to find out that they already know they aren’t visiting the ice explorer, but don’t mention that in their page at all. I consider this false advertising, as I would have never booked the tour if I knew I wasn’t going to the locations it state. Luckily I could cancel!

5.00Unfortunately we could not do the Columbia Icefields due to the weather. Instead we went to a range of different lakes. Sam was very professional and caring. Worth the money as it was an excellent day.

5.00Sam's private tour was very good. It was a very fulfilling tour, with the flexibility to change destinations. They recommended Johnson Canyon and added it to their original plans. I'd like to ask you again the next time you come to Banff.

5.00Our tour guide, Jass was great. Even picked me up from my hotel to save me walking. We did the alternative tour due to the highway between Lake Louise & Jasper being closed. But we still visited some really scenic lakes. Worth the money, reccomended.

5.00Did the tour with my mom and we were the only ones on this tour. So as an introvert, this was a dream come true. Jazz was our guide, he was nice enough to ask us which Lakes we wanted to visit so he could create an itinerary based around what exactly we wanted. We had such a wonderful experience during the 6 hours we spent together. I definitely recommend wearing proper winter boots, because some of the lakes do require you to hike up so winter boots with traction is best or get spikes and mines were worn out so Jazz had to help me down a couple of sloops. I was really looking forward to the Icefields Parkway but because of the weather it was closed, so that was out of Jazz’s control, but we had a good time nonetheless!
