The intermediate level is suitable for all those who are looking for more adventure and want to get out of their comfort zone. With big jumps or big waterfalls, the choice is yours! the perfect level for all those who are really adventurous. this level has various rappels, the highest being 15 meters. With some refreshing pools that we can jump and slide into and all the time we will be accompanied by beautiful mountain views. We walk of approximately 20 minutes on a dirt road and along a Levada, our canyoning adventure starts.

For some time I had the desire to go canyoning... hoped to go some day with friends. When I spoke to the Go Explorer team... I was convinced to take the family (6, 8 and 10 years old). And it was the maximum! Fantastic team and the kids loved it! Thank you Jose and Bruno! And they took care to do a private activity only for our group. It was a super tour activity to do in family! The kids already want to do Level 3!

Fantastic experience, especially if you have never done this sort of thing before. You need to be reasonably fit and have the ability to clamber over pretty decent sized rocks and boulders. You also don't want to be concerned about full immersion in mountain streams and pools! Jose & Bruno guided us and explained the rules and safety so that you have complete confidence. I ended up doing this with my daughter as my son's feet were too big (size 15) - a point to bear in mind, the wet suit shoes were max size 11.5 (UK) - his loss was my gain!

Amazing time! Definitely book here. We had great guides. We did the level 2 at Nun’s Valley and had a fantastic time. We ended with a jump off a waterfall!

The experience of cannyinjng with go explore Madeira was amazing!! Really a fun day! The guide José is very responsable and professional but funny at the same time!! The views are really beautiful and it’s a real adventure. Just go for it, you will not regret !!

An adventure in a unique place in the middle of nature with stunning views. The guide José provided a very fun and full of adrenaline morning. Do the work with great taste and professionalism. I highly recommend and wish you the best of successes.

We had such a fun time going canyoning with Miguel and José. We were laughing the whole time and felt very safe at every point. I would definitely pick this tour as it was very personalised and so much fun- the guides make the experience so great.

This tour was amazing. Miguel and Jose made us feel very safe and relaxed and made the whole experience so enjoyable! They were so professional when the weather did not look safe and made rebooking for a better time very easy! They take amazing photos that you leave with on the day with. They know these routes like the back of their hands and know all the best spots! Would highly recommend this experience!!

What an amazing and unforgettable experience! The best from the best! 😊 José & Miguel were very enthusiastic and made the activity really fun! If needed, they adjusted the canyoning path accordingly to the skills. We felt really safe and had so much fun & laugh. Mountains surrounding was also exceptional.
