Certified divers, lets go it is dive time! Diving Curaçao is an amazing experience. This is a small group tour with focus on quality, unless you are part of a large group who want to dive together.
The waters of Curaçao offer spectacular visibility along with many species of fish that are found only in Curaçao. On a typical dive you may French angelfish, eels, morays, lion fish or parrot fish, a variety of live coral and, of course, a spectacular variety of colorful tropical fish.

This 1-tank shore dive begins at 08:15 am. You will set up the dive equipment at the dive center, and then we are reading to go to The Tugboat. Here you get a briefing of the Dive. Tugboat is one of Curaçao’s most famous and popular dive sites. Named after the tugboat that was accidentally sunk years ago, this little wreck rests at just 5 m (17ft). The TugBoat offers great photo ops and is perfect for snorkelers too. Divers will see that that there’s a lot more to the site, however, including a dramatic, pretty wall on one side, and a shallow reef to the other, home to a large variety of reef fish and cool creatures. The reef drops off much deeper for the more adventurous divers. For the second dive, you will go to Marie Pampoen. At the dive site, you get a briefing of the dive. Marie Pampoen is very similar to a car wrecker underwater. The cars date from the forties and were dumped here in the sixties to form an artificial reef. It is possible that you will not be able to dive at one of the dive locations because of the condition. In this case, a different dive location will be arranged.

5.00Our second time diving with Van de Ven. Just like the first time, we loved our experience. This is a no nonsense, family run business with great customer service and a very obvious love of sharing their dive knowledge. They also have a high priority on dive safety, which we so appreciate. We did a navigation course, then 2 guided dives and finally 2 dives by ourself. Loved it all. Recommend them! We will be back for sure.

5.00Very nice dive with Gerard. This school takes plenty of time, has a passion for diving and makes it a wonderful day in addition to the two dives we did. All facilities are available, modern equipment is used and the dives are discussed and chosen extensively in advance. We compared several dive centers but got a nice feeling with Angelique and Gerard. It's like going diving with friends. During our two dives we saw several turtles, beautiful coral, Caribbean sea devils and a beautiful blue spotted eel. We were more than satisfied with this diving school and are definitely considering going back. (Young couple, both padi advanced)

5.00I was quite excited to dive again after a year, but Monique immediately put me at ease. She explained everything calmly and clearly, which made me feel completely relaxed. The dive was beautiful! For the first time I dived for more than an hour, and Monique really took her time with me. Afterwards, we entered everything into the SSI app together, including the fish we had seen – so I could let the home front enjoy what I had seen and persuade them to go diving next time. A great experience and highly recommended. Thank you so much!

5.00What a special experience! Today we did an introductory dive with our family of 4 at Dive Center vd Ven. We were warmly received and received a good explanation from our instructor. Then we were taken to Caracas Bay and practiced in the shallow water in peace... Once we got the confidence and the battle we descended along the coral reef to the 10 mtr where we were introduced to the beautiful underwater world of Curaçao! 🐠🐟🦀🦑🏝️ Thank you dive center vd Ven and especially instructor Erik! You really put ox at ease!

5.00The diving at van de Ven is phenomenal! I hadn’t dived for a while but they took all the time to refresh my knowledge. On arrival a nice cup of coffee, then fitting equipment and loading it into the car. Equipment all fine. At van de Ven you can dive at multiple dive sites, they are not tied to one location. During the dive Monique takes extensive time to point out all the special animals and also knows how to find the hiding places of the shy and more rare animals. They take the safety and risks of diving seriously at van de ven. You can also (test) dive with them if you are a bit uncertain. In short, if you are on Curaçao, do not hesitate and go diving at van de Ven.
