This is a private tour with a 7-seater van for a maximum 6 guests.
Chania since the ancient times was a melting pot of civilizations and cultures, each invader and new town resident leaving its mark on history, architecture and culture. Chania is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe dating back to Minoan civilization. I have studied history and as a local, know this place intimately and love sharing the knowledge.
In this tour we will walk through the city and visit sites, local shops and artisans and taste local products. Will enjoy a panoramic view of Chania old town. The monuments and buildings have so many stories to tell. Will explain the culture and traditions and how they formed the modern day city of Chania.
Travelers can optionally extend the tour. We can visit an excellent mountain restaurant, wine tasting, visit the farmers' market, WW2 cemetery or a hand crafts location.

5.00George was delightful, knowledgeable and very accommodating for our small group. We very much enjoyed getting such in depth historical information while on our tour. We also enjoyed an olive oil/honey tasting which was delicious and unexpected. George comes highly, highly recommended. 10 thumbs up 👍🏻

5.00Excellent tour of Old Town Chania and surrounding area! The team was flexible in handling our situation of a last minute change in our arrival port. Zoe was also wonderful in working with mobility limitations of one of our family. Petros and Zoe were both very knowledgeable about Chania and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and time in Crete!
