  Our tour guide - Polo was fantastic and very knowledgeable and engaging. Loved the tour. We got to experience the real Kolkata. Well worth doing this tour.

  What an exciting morning in the vibrant chaos of Kolkata! Paulami guided us by bus, subway, auto rickshaw, and on foot on a whirlwind journey through the city. We began at sunrise at Victoria Memorial Park before diving into the color of the flower market below Rabindra Setu. From there, we spent time alongside the Hooghly River and walked the bazaar district before stopping for breakfast at an historic eatery. We ended the morning with a quiet, reflective visit to Mother Teresa’s Mother House. Along the way, we learned so much about the culture of Kolkata and its colonial past from a Bengali perspective. Paulami is a warm, engaging storyteller who brings the city to life with depth and passion. An unforgettable experience—highly recommended.

  Go! This was a great tour before the day gets too hot. We had the best guide we could ever hope for and her knowledge, joy, and flexibility made for the most amazing day. Kolkata is beautiful and it really opened itself up to us as it awakened.

  Our guide for Chasing the Sun tour was Moinak. It's an early start but we'll worth the effort. Mounak is very knowledgeable about Kolkata and took us to places most tourists would never venture to. Joining the locals on an early morning bus and plenty of stops for cups of chai and finishing with a particularly good breakfast. Book this tour with confidence. A great way to see Kolkata wake up.

  This tour was the most special one we ever had. Kolkata told us her story, shared by a wonderful guide. We got to see a lot of places and had great food.   We joined this tour at the end of April. We booked the tour probably one week before the date, and we received the reminder and kind instruction of how we met prior to the tour by whatsapp, it was helpful. Our purpose of the visit is to deepen the insight of how the city was born and developed into the current shapes of itself, It was the answer of it. The tour begins at Victoria Memorial, which participants have a chance to know and feel how British started to cultivate the city. Then we moved to Flower market by bus. It was good opportunity to immerse ourselves into the way of locals. Basically at the sites participants visited, there were free time, I took many pictures. I don’t write all the details as it could spoil the experience, but I want ti mention it, as we chase the sunrise, we could get clearer image of the city. For example, at the flower market I experienced how people trade the flowers, then at the next destination, I had a chance to know how the flowers are used I the daily life. In this way, participants can expands the how the city has been developed and functioned. I recommend this tour to experience at the first day of your stay. You can grasp the ideas of whole city. とても親切で楽しめました。ローカルな場所の訪れ方や、公共交通機関の乗り方なども同時に学べるので、滞在の最初の方にツアーを利用すると、行動範囲が広がると思います。ガイドは歴史に詳しく、なぜその建造物がそこに存在するのか、背景から説明してくれて、理解が捗りました。
