You will head to the chocolatier's making site located in central Basel with a host. Arrived, you will participate in a chocolate-making workshop where you will learn the in-depth processes of Swiss chocolate making, its origin, and how Switzerland became an icon for Milk chocolates. You will first taste a variety of raw cacao beans to understand the different flavors of each bean that the chocolatier uses; you will then be explained the processes from bean to bar, then they'll be a demonstration of how ganache is made to fill your high-quality truffles, afterward, you will go ahead and be making your chocolate bars from bean to bar.

Jade and Valter made this experience amazing! They are both very knowledgeable about the process and explain everything well. It was such a cool experience and I would absolutely do it again! It is in a small room so it felt more intimate, which I did like!

This was such a unique and fun experience and would definitely recommend it! We were picked up right by Basel SBB and driven to the bakery. At the bakery, Valter and Jade were excellent and taught us so much. We got to learn about the chocolate-making process and then got to make our own truffles and chocolate bars. We finished off the workshop by being dropped off at their store and had the option to buy some delicious truffles and cheese.
