The landscape of the Cinque Terre is spectacular and being able to savor it on foot and by train is an indelible experience. The scents, the colors of nature capture the visitor who is kidnapped by this landscape made of cliffs, jagged coast, steep and impossible paths that cross the "vertical" vineyards on the hills that frame these colorful seaside villages rich in historical experiences and traditions. We will walk together discovering the ancient traditions, the wonderful views overlooking the sea, the most characteristic corners and local food. All elements that make a day unique in these enchanting places. This excursion can be customized according to your inclinations, we will discover the natural and man-made contexts that have characterized this coast for centuries, I will be able to recommend glimpses for your photos, the best places for your lunch, since after a walk together, you will have free time to dedicate to you.

Decent guided tour of a beautiful part of the world

Cinque terre is a string of five beautiful coastal towns / villages along the Ligurian coastline in Italy, which can be reached via the trainline or ferry. We met with the guide at the La Spezia centrale station, as mentioned in the voucher. We then took an all day train ticket (50 euros / person) and set off to Manarola. After a quick tour of the beautiful village, we took the ferry (15 euros / person) to Vernazza, followed by train again to Monterosso, the biggest of the towns. All the towns were exquisitely scenic with beautiful rivieras, colourful houses and terraced farms on the hilltops. The guide was very knowledgeable, explaining the unique features and the traditions of the towns in detail and leaving us some time to explore ourselves. Although it was mentioned that the price did not include train or ferry tickets. it was not obvious from the description that we were paying over £50 per person just for the guide's services. We were also slightly disappointed that we ended up visiting only 3 out of the "5 lands".

Very comprehensive tour. Veronica was terrific. Enjoyed the pace and variety of the tour. Something for everyone. We were a group of 4 ages 15, 18, 69 and 76.

Veronica was very knowledgeable about all things Cinque Terre. We enjoyed all he main sites and a few extra, she also recommended some eateries one of which we enjoyed a terrific meal over looking the bay.
Perfect 1d tour if you love an overview of Cinque Terre!

Wonderful day out (3/4 day) with Veronica, our knowledgeable & thoughtful tour guide, who’s local in this Liguria area. My 2 aunts & I (together with 6 others) enjoyed her warmth and candour as she gave highlights of CT as a whole and individual villages - past, present & future. Practical on timing our visits to various villages by train / ferry to avoid crowds (where possible). She personalised her approach based on our tastes / preferences. She recommended places we could try - local cuisine. She also surprised us with a snack and drink unique to this region (you’ll find out more if you meet her!). A memorable day .. grazie Veronica ♥️
