You will learn the importance of the Cocora Valley, home of the wax palm. This region delimits Los Nevados National Park to promote its conservation and prevent further damage to its fauna and flora.

5.00The tour was sooooo good today! Amazing that Mairizio suggested to go earlier than booked. So we had bearly no people on the Tour. We were verry happy about it. Mairizio was a verry funny and interesting gide. Also de Horsebackrodong was an amazong experience. We‘ll do it again 😍

5.00My tour was great. The hike was fun and my guide shared so much information with me. I could tell he really loves his job and enjoys doing these tours. He explained everything well and had answers to all my questions. Whenever I wanted a picture, my guide would take pictures of me. If I didn‘t like them he‘d happily re-do them. He also gave me enough time to enjoy the landscape. After the hike I didn‘t feel well, but my guide took care of me. He suggested we did things a bit slower and go to a pharmacy so I could enjoy the rest of the tour. Then we had lunch and went horse riding. My inexperience with horses wasn’t a problem either, as the horse owner gave me a quick lecture before riding. The owner and my guide were riding along side of me. Whenever I didn’t know how to lead the horse, they would help me. It was pouring, but it didn‘t matter because my guide thought of that too. He knew the chance for rain was high, so we got a rain poncho before the start of the tour and I wore it for the horse riding part. Thanks to the poncho, I didn‘t get wet, although it was raining. Pedro was super kind, considerate, easy going and the best guide I could have asked for. We had a great day and good conversation. I have beautiful memories and pictures of my experience 💯👌🏽 I hope to maybe see him again on another tour sometime as he mentioned he does tours across different cities in Colombia

5.00Pedro is a sensational guide! It was well organized from the beginning. We received a lot of information and were allowed to actively participate in the tour. The horse tour was wonderful and the route unique, walking on horseback through the river, I will never forget this. Pedro manages to go from a guide to a friend. Important tip: make the tours as early as possible.

5.00Amazing tour, Juan was our tour guide. He spoke excellent English, very informative. We went early to Corora Valley which i would recommend to avoid the crowds. The horse riding at the end was a great experience, the horses are well cared for on a small farm and only go out twice a day at the most and only small groups at a time. would highly recommend this tour!

4.00A great experience. The guide accompanies you well, she is very kind and explains the history on the palm trees, the nature around and also on the village of Salento. We can talk with her (Sarah). And the tour is fine.
Unbelievable. I recommend. Very good Guide. Driver to get us to the site very good. Go with your eyes closed

5.00The first part is on foot in the valley cocora with spectacular views. Juan our Guide (who is excellent) gave us a lot of explanations on the site. The second part is done on horseback through several varied paths. Horses are well treated I recommend

Having a private Guide (who speaks both English and Spanish) is a great added value to get to know the local reality and culture in a short time. 5.00We hiked with Pedro who was super nice and very knowledgeable. The Cocora Valley is gorgeous! We learned so much and had a blast on the hike. The horseback ride was incredible, beautiful healthy horses, breathtaking views and very fun company. Pedro made sure we had an unforgettable day in Salento, we have made beautiful memories. Highly highly recommend it!
