Bay Mau Coconut Forest

A trip to the water coconut groves and back during the day is pretty special too. Cam Thanh village is about 4ha, during the Vietnam war tthis was the shelter for local people and soldiers and nowadays this place is famous for providing the most seafood procduts for this area. Joining basket boat tour you will have achance to learn some traditional fishing techniques and how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the now tranquil Coconut palm flanked waterways of a past war.

Visitors will join a cooking class at Hangcoconut restaurant located next to the river and in the center of Bay Mau Coconut Forest. Arrive at a charming garden-style setting where your chef-guide will teach you classic Vietnamese cooking techniques. You’ll make multiple traditional dishes such as fresh spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes (Bánh Xèo), crab salad, steamed rice paper and more, using the ingredients you selected earlier. At the end of the class, savor your creations with your group over lunch.

    Admission 150000 for 1. 45 mins. Was a good, relaxing journey. Touristy for sure. Got to see the coconut groves. I would do it once.

    Did a coconut forest boat trip with hotel transfer. Easy pickup and drop off. Friendly staff at the venue and the boat driver Yee was funny.

    It was great. The spinning boat was scary but fun. It was a very valuable experience and well worth it. They kept a good distance from me and took lots of photos for me.

    Lee was amazing!!! She was so good at explaining the cooking and the food was delicious!! The boat ride before cooking was also amazing! Would recommend going the early time slot (8am) for less busyness.

    Lee was amazing!!! So kind and helpful and catered to my vegetarian needs. Had so much fun! Got to do the boat ride too which was so exciting.
