We had an amazing cooking class experience with Hadja and her family. It was such a special day for our group. We really felt so welcome and appreciated all the special touches for our group. I will never forget Hadja's mother and the special connection we shared during our time.

My son and I had the best experience in the cooking class with Hajar. Ee started at the local market, where we bought the grosseries for the dinner. After that Hajar introduced us with a Moroccan tea ceremony. Then ee made delicious Tajin with chicken and different vegetables and spices, we made a fresh salat, a dish made of grilled eggplants and a delicate orange dessert. Overall an exceptional experience I can highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Taking the cooking class with Hajar was one of the highlights of my trip to Morocco. The class started with a visit to the local market. Back at Hajar's - and her house has a wonderful atmosphere! - we learned how to prepare a classic chicken tagine with preserved lemons, spices, vegetables and olives, a tasty sauce and a delicious orange cake. We also enjoyed traditional pastry prepared by Hajar's mother that are normally eaten during Ramadan. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the aromas filling the courtyard were unforgettable. I left with a deeper appreciation of Moroccan hospitality. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

I had the most amazing cooking class experience in the heart of the Marrakech Kasbah with Hajar! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with warmth and Moroccan hospitality. Hajar made every step of the cooking process fun, easy, and full of tips about Moroccan cuisine. We prepared traditional dishes from scratch, including fresh breads, tagines, and desserts, and enjoyed authentic Moroccan mint tea along the way. The hands-on experience, combined with the beautiful Kasbah setting, made it truly unforgettable. By the end of the class, not only did we have a delicious meal, but we also learned so much about Moroccan culture and culinary traditions. Highly recommended—Hajar is an incredible host!

Excellent experience. The person who picked us up and guided us through these 3 hours was incredibly kind. She explained many things to us and had us prepare truly delicious food. She was very welcoming, and the house where we had this experience, with its beautiful inner garden, was truly stunning. It was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to everyone—it's far from the usual activities and truly worth doing. Moreover, our host has enviable linguistic skills.

We had an amazing cooking class in Marrakech with locals, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! From shopping for fresh ingredients in the local market to preparing traditional Moroccan dishes, everything was authentic, fun, and well explained. The hosts, two sisters, were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. We learned how to make delicious tagine, fresh salads, and of course, traditional Moroccan mint tea. The atmosphere felt like cooking with family, not like a tourist activity. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a real cultural experience in Marrakech! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was a great experience, it was our first day in Marrakech and they were open to answer all the questions we had during cooking. We learn the basics to make Cous-cous, Tajin and Morrocan salad.

Our travel guide booked this class for me and my sons. This cooking class with Hajar and her aunty Malika was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We were originally meant to travel to the High Atlas Mountains for a cooking experience, but after several days in the car travelling to the desert and back through the Atlas Mountains, we didn’t want another long day of driving. We therefore asked our tour organiser to find us a cooking class in Marrakesh instead and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome in their beautiful family riad, it felt far more like being invited into someone’s home than attending a class. The riad itself is a wonderful setting, with a stunning kitchen and beautiful Moroccan tiling that immediately sets the tone. We were taught how to make Moroccan mint tea properly, and it was probably the best tea we had during our time in Morocco. We began with tea and sweets, then cooked a delicious chicken tagine together, along with fresh bread. The boys were encouraged to get involved, chopping and helping make the bread dough and also cook the bread which they absolutely loved. Her aunty made the msemen so easily all by hand ans was incredible watching her (we make something similar with a rolling pin in our culture) . What made this experience especially meaningful was sitting down to eat together with Hajar and Malika. Sharing the meal with them made everything feel authentic, warm, and heartfelt, and truly elevated the experience. At the end, we enjoyed tea again with sweet delights, cake, and msemen. By that point our hearts were full and our tummies were very full too; a true reflection of the generosity and care throughout the whole experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Marrakech. It’s an experience we won’t forget in a hurry. The culture, warmth, and hospitality of the Moroccan people were truly humbling, and this experience captured that so beautifully.
