Day trip safari to mikumi national park.

Early morning 4:40am we pick up travellers from hotel to airport for the flight to Mikumi national park.

7:00am flight depart from zanzibar to mikumi national park.

8:00am we arrive mikumi national park once we arrive we will be picked up by our safari driver and we start full game mikumi national park is well-known for lions, elephant, giraffe wildebeest hyenas buffalo zebras antilope gazelle, hippos, crocodile, cheatter is rarer to see.

Afternoon around 13:00 short break for lunch and relax after that we continue with game drive up to evening we drive to mikumi airstrip for the flight to zanzibar.

4:00pm flight depart from mikumi national park to zanzibar.

5:00pm flight arrive zanzibar and we pick up travellers from airport to hotel

Amazing Safari Experience Our trip to Mikumi on a day safari was truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The experience was great value for money, and the tour itself was well worth it. We were fortunate to see many animals, including the elusive cheetah, which is rare to spot in Mikumi. Our safari organizer, Mohamed, was exceptionally responsive and ensured that our experience would be unforgettable—and it certainly was! I highly recommend him and his team for an amazing safari experience.

This 1 day safari trip from Zanzibar to Mikumi NP has been a dream come through for my wife and I. Mohamed is a more then excellent organiser and host. He is a very good communicator and is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about his beloved Zanzibar and the Safari experience. Every step of the way from hotel pickup, airport drop off including handling the tickets to arrival in Mikumi and guidance to the correct vehicle was organised to perfecto. Our allocated guide Said and driver Ricardo were also outstanding as they both continued the high level of hospitality as soon as we touched down in Mikumi. Once our vehicle departed we immediately were surrounded by lots of impalas, a few warthogs and 2 medium sized elephants. During the let’s say 7 hr safari trip we did not get disappointed as we basically saw every animal you can think of. Highlights were the 3 lionesses with their 8 cubs from about 20-25 NTR’s distance, a few warthog families with various sized young piglets and to top it of just before finishing up we were lucky enough to see mum, dad and a young baby elephant from very close by. Heaps of Giraffes, Zebra’s, buffaloes, crocodiles and hippos made our experience more than complete. The leopard played the hide and seek game a little to well the day we visited, so looking at the fact that the rhinoceros doesn’t reside in Mikumi, we did see 3 out of 5 of the Big5🙂 The journey back to Zanzibar was just as comfortable and well organised as the way up including taxi pickup at airport and drop off back to our hotel in Kendwa. We highly recommend booking with Mohamed and his crew as they truly delivered a day we will remember for the rest of our lives

Wonderful experience My wife and I booked day trip safari to mikumi with Edo criss we meet him on Instagram he gave us fair price for safari, the trip was wonderful no complain everything was well organized, our safari driver was nice and he knows everything, he showed us different animals and explain to us. We would recommend a safari with Edo, he is top safari organiser in Zanzibar. Thank you.

Our day trip safari from zanzibar was incredible, our day trip safari booked on viator by our agent but from beginning of trip up to the the end was fantastic, our driver Mohamed was calm and cool, he warmly greeting us and drive us to airport waiting us up we check in, In Mikumi we meet Alex, he was our professional driver guide he knows so much about the nature and wildlife he explain to us everything. We saw elephants, giraffe, wildebeest, hyena, buffalo, warthog, zebras antilope and lions, our trip was well organized and it truly was a trip of a lifetime. I have no worries with them everything goes smooth and highly recommend

We enjoyed day trip safari to mikumi from Zanzibar with direct flight to mikumi, we spent 7 hours on safari we saw many animals including group of 8 lions hunting bufalo, it was unforgettable experience. Friendly people good organisation we highly recommend Africa's home tours and safaris and special thanks to Mohamed, overall I highly recommend the day trip safari to mikimi. It worth every moment of it.

A fascinating excursion. Essential. Elephants, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, hippos, crocodiles....and the most incredible thing is to see a lion/lioness couple just centimeters away in a romantic love encounter. With a super professional and attentive guide of us and to find all the animals possible. Many thanks to Mohamed for perfectly organizing this UNFORGETTABLE excursion.
