4.00Sylvie was a delightful and very knowledgeable tour guide. She showed us around the beautiful city’s central streets, which are gloriously scented with fabulous jasmine plants, whilst we enjoyed delicious small treats of local cakes, chocolate, (tomato and shallot tart & salade for veggies) croque monsieur for omnivores, Delphine’s delectable cheeses & local wine. Tour was slightly tarnished by a very loud member of the group.

Visited several shops that offered great cheeses, pastries etc. The Canneles (Cassonade Cannelés & Spécialités), Chocolatine (Boulangerie Louis Lamour), chocolates (La Maison Darricau), cheese (Chez Delphine) and les dune blanche where all absolutely amazing. The lunch which was a traditional meal that is offered to french workers. The wine was good as well.

5.00Alexandra was a fantastic guide for this tour. We loved her engaging stories about the history of Bordeaux and its food. The food stops were well planned and the food we tasted was amazing - we gained a wonderful insight into its production. It was a great experience and I highly recommend you take this tour when you visit Bordeaux.
