I am writing the review actually on the tour right now, on the way back to Bordeaux. Yev is the tour guide and driver while Hanna is the intern tour guide. Both are amazing people and guides as they are kind and friendly. We visited three vineyards / châteaus and tried wine tasting 4 times with the last time in a wine shop in St Emilion. I’ve never tried so many bottles of wine in my life and I barely drink! The picnic lunch spread in one of the vineyards was wonderful and delicious. I highly recommend this tour and hopefully you get Yev as the tour guide for the day trip.

I had such a fun time on this day tour of beautiful Bordeaux wine country! 🚐 We were left banking it in Médoc and right banking it through Pomerol and Saint-Émilion. 🍷 A snack (aka delicious charcuterie) was had at one of the wineries mid-day - like so much food - we could not finish it! 😁 and of course - it was served with wine! 🧺🍷We were a small group, which I loved - much more intimate! Also, could not have asked for a friendlier and knowledgeable tour guide - Vincent - along with the friendly staff at the wineries. 😊 Merci beaucoup Vincent - it was such a fun day! I would love to tour with you again next time in Bordeaux - when I drag my boyfriend along! 😁 Cheers 🥂 p.s. also a shoutout to the friendly staff in the office before leaving 😊

Dante delightfully shared his deep knowledge of wine, especially but not exclusively those of Bordeaux, with our group of 7. His English is perfect and he also speaks Spanish and French. He gave us long and in depth talks about the region’s wines and the wine making process, highlighting the differences in terroirs, varietals and processes used by each chateau we visited in Haut-Medoc (Margaux), Pomerol and St. Emilion. Dante, a former restaurant owner, is very outgoing, engaging and a deeply knowledgeable student of wine. While he is willing to answer broader questions about the history and culture of the region, he makes clear this tour is focused not on those topics but on wine. We highly recommend this tour.
