This tour is not recommended for children under 15 years of age due to busy, crowded bars and the alcohol focus of this tour. For safety and logistical reasons, guests with very young children or strollers may be refused participation in this tour

San Sebastian Served Superbly: Begonia’s Five-Course Stroll

We highly recommend Begonia to guide you through the food and wine landscape of San Sebastian’s Old Towne, a jaw-dropping architectural experience dotted with dozens of stellar pinxos (tapas) joints. Her knowledge of food, wine and the remarkable Basque culture was vast, and she told it in a way that was both illuminating and entertaining. In addition, she directed us to different vendors – who were excellent --- for our extended stay. You won’t go hungry on Begonia’s tour – she orchestrated a walking 5-course meal with complimentary wines that left us satisfied. And while she said she’d answer to any flower’s name, I will always credit Begonia with sending mussels to the top of my favorite foods list. Sorry, Begonia, sardines still don’t make the list.

Begonia and Nia were knowledgeable and fun tour guides making sure our small group was well taken care of. We learned so much about San Sebastian's history and culture and felt more comfortable in the rest of our trip. It was a wonderful and delicious evening!

Really enjoyed learning about the history of the city and the areas of the old town we were visiting, as well as the food. Our guide used visual aids when explaining historical events and geographical context, which were really useful. We were able to try a wide range of pinxtos and tapas, though the drinks choices were maybe a bit restricted for us. Catered easily to pescatarians.

Absolutely loved our experience and would highly recommend. Our guide, Begona, was knowledgeable, fun, and answered all of questions. Every spot we went to was amazing and we’re already excited to come back to the beautiful San Sebastián.
Best way to learn about Pintxos!

This was a great way to experience many different places without the pressure of knowing what to try or get. We stopped at 6 different pintxos spots and tried their specials. It was super unique and tasty. You will have a good amount of food so be sure to come hungry. We really enjoyed having others on the tour who spoke English because it made the experience feel like it's supposed to gathering and conversing with pintxos. Gabriele was a wonderful guide with great english. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to do a Pintxos tour
