  This tour was a really great experience with a local, knowledgeable, and friendly guide! I would highly recommend Douro Tours for an authentic and lovely wine tasting and area tour!

  We really enjoyed our day trip. There were only (4) in our group. Started the day with the boat trip. Guide was new and reading off his phone. Rain held off so that was a plus. Visit to Quinta da Carvalhosa was an amazing drive and photo opportunities. Christophine (Our guide) was excellent and very patient. Tried three table wines, all solid wines. Lunch was a a typical Portuguese restaurant. Food was tasty but not fancy. Last tour was at Croft. Three ports were good but nothing special. Doubt we drove more than 5- miles the whole day. Wineries were right around Pinhao. Would recommend to friends for a great way to experience the area. Finished with a tour of the tiles at the train station.

  Deanna was a great tour guide. My daughter and I enjoyed the tour. Pinhao is a beautiful area. We learned more about Port and tasted wonderful wines.

  A great day in and around Pinhao. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The tours and port wine and varietal wine tastings as two wineries were great. Local restaurant for lunch was delicious.

• Great tour - get tickets directly from Douro Tours - much cheaper!

  This was a fun tour but you can purchase tickets for 40€ less per person from the tour company itself (they charge 95€ per person, and they sell the tickets on site). We were pretty annoyed that we paid so much more by going through Viator - shame on them! If it was just a few euros, no problem, but €40 more is rediculous.
