Our day starts with a pick up at your accommodation in Porto or somewhere in the Douro Valley at 8:30am or 9:30am. During the day, you will have the wonderful opportunity to savor several Douro DOC and Port wines with commented tastings, a 50-minute boat ride at the small village of Pinhão, and a three-course meal with wines.

It's now time to stop at the famous Pinhão railway station and enjoy some breathtaking landscapes. Relax: the time is all yours! Have an innovative perspective of this region’s history, culture, and gastronomy, while strolling through the vineyards where the finest wines from the “Quintas” (Wine Estates) are produced. A memorable experience!

Have some time to admire the viewpoints and take group pictures – the Douro Region is truly overwhelming! At the end of this adventurous day, rest on a gentle drive to Porto, where we will drop you off comfortably at your accommodation at around 7:30 pm.

Wow. What an amazing tour, Alfredo provides such an authentic experience that is absolutely worth the money. Probably our favorite day of our entire Portugal vacation. Can’t recommend it enough.

An incredible experience!! Alfredo was an incredible guide and crafted the perfect experience in the Douro Valley. He took us to incredible estates and we tasted the most delicious Port and dry wines. We ordered at least 7 bottles of wine to ship to the US. An amazing day with a great guide. Highly recommend. This is the best time and were extremely comfortable. We have no complaints and highly recommend this amazing experience.

Book this tour if in Porto or visiting the Duoro Valley. The guide is great, brings you to wonderful places and has a great vehicle. Can’t say enough about the food and wines as well.

Lovely experience through the Douro with Alfredo. He is a very knowledgeable host regarding viniculture and it’s historical influence in Portugal. We enjoyed the wines and loved experiencing the passion and enthusiasm of the wine makers. We highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful day touring wineries: Guedo, Pacheco (fabulous 3 course lunch included), and Quinta de Pego. All amazing in their own way and we loved the wines / port. Alfredo was instrumental in keeping us entertained and on track all day. He is a gem!! His English is perfect - we would love to see him again. 45 min boat ride on The Douro River was a bonus. Long day but so worth it!
