You will be welcomed into small minibuses with no more than sixteen guests that can get into and through the 'Olde Worlde' villages where large coaches cannot.
We will curate the day bespoke around your needs and wishes rather than shoehorn you in like sardines where you may see little more than the freeway!
After your free-time in Canterbury, a city that has seen Christian Pilgrims since 1170 we drive through the stunning Stour Valley past vineyards, bluebell woods, and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is the Kentish Downs. We stop for photographs at the start of villages then collect you at the further end often where you will walk downhill.
The 'Garden of England' reveals bucolic rolling countryside past quintessential 'chocolate box' cottages and ancient churches until we reach Leeds Castle, often described as 'The most beautiful in the world'.
A moated castle perched on two islands set in 500 acres of glorious parkland dating back to the 12th century it is unique.

Matt, our tour guide, is excellent. Thank you! I thought we were going to see inside one of the castles, but I understand time did not permit it. I would have preferred to cut other sites to actually see the inside of the castle.

The canterbery castle and the driver Nigel. Very nice person very helpful. we liked the small group. Nigel went above and beyond the driver duties. He was guiding us

We really enjoyed our tour with Matt and Robin! I know this was their first time trying out this tour and will likely make some adjustments and won't include two guides, but I enjoyed them both (so very different personalities). Viator is not great about telling you the company name (unless you look on your wallet ticket) of the tour company name, so we walked right past Matt with his sign - the rain didn't help. Because of the smaller group, we were able to leave ahead of the big tour buses, which was wonderful! In Canterbury, we opted out of visiting the Cathedral since we had just come from London and the likes of St. Pauls and Westminster. We didn't let the rain get us down as we walked around the village. This was followed by a few small village stops for short walks and photo ops. We didn't realize the walking distance once we arrived at the drop-off point at Leeds Castle, but it was probably the most beautiful walk we took on our 30+ day vacation. Just make sure you allow enough time on the return walk. The castle itself had a varied history that was interesting, but honestly the grounds were more beautiful and interesting than the castle itself (in my humble opinion). We had a little extra time when we got back to Dover, which allowed the guides to take us for a photo stop of Dover Castle. Bonus! Though maybe not a perfect experience the first time out, we really enjoyed our day and glad we took the tour!

The tour was just lovely. 9 people in total getting to adventure through several small towns on our way to Canterbury and Leeds Castle. The operators were friendly and funny. Give them a chance and you will not be disappointed.
