Our visit to the Palacio de Bellas Artes was enjoyable and enlightening. Mercedes was our guide. Her presentation is very polished. We were fully engaged by the discussion of the building architecture and especially the murals - their artistic interpretations and their relevance to Mexican history. We want to express our sincere appreciation for this opportunity.

Our guide, Mercedes Iriondo led us through the chronology of the murals in a rich combination of the history, politics, culture, and economic transitions in Mexicos national development. She brought the muralist movement alive for us! She welcomed questions and was very knowledgable and helped us see impacts of the different muralists styles. The context was superb and the Palace of Fine Arts, is a treasure.

Mercedes was a very knowledgeable tour guide who presented many details and also ask us for questions. She also shared a great amount of Mexican history and her love of the City, which we appreciated . My wife and I felt she was a pleasure to send the afternoon with. Best tour we have taken!.
