5.00What a once in a lifetime experience. Actually, this was so good that we may make it a twice in a lifetime experience. Our guide Rafal was super knowledgeable, funny, took great pictures, and prioritised our safety. The caves were outstanding. A wonderful tour - worth every penny.

5.00Chris was our guide. He got us in the truck and headed out to the glacier. Couldn't see much as it was still dark. At the parking area we got on crampons and hard hats and started up. Several stops on the way to learn about glaciers and the area. The cave itself was smaller than expected but that's what nature has created at this time. Chris pointed out how far the glacier has receded over the last 10 years. Nice drive back as we could see the surrounding scenery

5.00I highly recommend this experience with Katlatrack Adventure Tours. Just the right balance of glacier and landscape information, exciting adventure and fun. The staff was welcoming and helpful from beginning to end. We lucked out with a knowledgeable, fantastic guide, Rafal. He made a well organized experience an awesome one! I will do this again next time I am in Vik.

5.00This was an amazing experience for us. Carlos was our guide and he was on point with the entire tour. He gave exceptional attention to detail with the tour and some dry humor at just the right times. Very impressed with KatlaTrack. The Cave itself was slightly disappointing as the majority of it has already melted and doesn't exist at the moment, but that's nature and no fault of KatlaTrack. Luckily we went in the middle of winter, so the entire ice and snow experience was spectacular. We learned a ton and saw first hand how nature is evolving in this area. Would definitely choose them again when we come to Iceland and would love to have Carlos for other experiences as well.

1.00I recently booked the Katla Ice Cave tour for October 30th at 12:30 PM, but it was rescheduled at the very last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. While I understand that such situations can happen, the sudden change completely disrupted my travel itinerary and other planned activities for the day. I’ve reached out to request a full refund for the affected booking, as the short notice made it impossible to adjust my plans. Hoping the company handles this matter promptly and professionally, as smooth communication and accountability are key when managing travel experiences like this.

2.00I would like to start by saying that the Tour Company and Guide were incredibly nice and did a great job but the value for the money on this tour is not there. We happened to go on a windy day and black volcano ash was in our eyes, teeth, clothes and all over our faces. Not what we expected. Sadly the glacier is melting and the ice cave was very small and there were multiple tour groups there just pushing people along. We had ice climbed another glacier the day before and I wish we left it at that. We spent too much money and time on this tour to come out covered in black ash.

5.00We had an outstanding time and it was because Jake shared so much information. It was a perfect day. He didn’t rush anyone and made sure we stayed in the right place to keep us all safe. The cave was way more than I ever expected it to be. I loved his friend Charlie too.
