We are the #1 tour in Frankfurt for many reasons, but mainly our passion and desire to make your visit here memorable. We want you to wish you had more time in Frankfurt! Our professional, English-speaking guides tell you unique stories while showing you this historic and beautiful city. We believe the only way to see Frankfurt is on foot where you can enter buildings and see where history was made. We show you places the tour buses can't. The list of our stops is not in any particular order and may vary a bit due to events in the city or holidays. If one site is closed (like on Sundays), we may add another special site.
It is an easy 3 hour walk, with comfort breaks, snack break, and is stroller and wheelchair friendly.

5.00My husband and I enjoyed the 3 hour tour of Frankfurt with Jennifer. Despite the cold, we learned a lot and Jennifer checked on our comfort level and welcomed questions. I especially enjoyed the indoor market and we went back there for lunch after the tour ended. If you’re looking for a concise and informative tour, I recommend it.

5.00Guessing the tour would've been great. Site needs to correct the map pointer to match the address that prints on a separate page. Was early waiting at the location shown on the map, then looked at another page of the printout and realized I was a block away. Missed the tour. Was rainy/snowy so ended up going on the HoponHopoff bus/boat combo.
Don't miss this tour! Highlight of my trip!

5.00This walking tour was AMAZING. I was lucky enough to have Hannes as my tour guide for this experience and once I found out he studied history at university, I knew I was going to enjoy the tour. Frankfurt in January can be quite cold, so I ended up being the only person on the tour which made it that much more personal and gave me the ability to ask as many questions as possible. The time flew by as we visited some of the more well known (and some lesser-known) spots of Frankfurt, and it made me realize how beautiful the city is. Hannes had photos to accompany all of the stops so I could learn even more, and when he found out I was also learning to speak German, he switched into German a time or two and let me ask a lot of questions about the language as well. I could not recommend this tour enough for families, couples, or solo. It honestly was the highlight of my trip to Frankfurt.

5.00Our guide, Hannes, was awesome. He provided such a diverse amount of history, I was surprised at how far back the history is for Frankfurt, with references to Roman times! He also provided advice about places to visit (free and otherwise), and foods/drinks to have while visiting. There were frequent stops along the walk and it was manageable. There are a number of intermittent steps, however I imagine Hannes would accommodate those who would be unable to use the steps (wasn’t necessary during our tour). Honestly learnt so much about Frankfurt, probably one of our favourite tours across Europe so far!

5.00We had several walking tours across Italy and Germany during this trip, and usually we walked away thinking, “Ah, this is the standard of a walking tour” - until we met Hennes. If there were a ranking for this job, he would be top-notch. The level of detail, knowledge, and experience he brought was exceptional. You don’t just hear isolated facts; you walk away with a coherent storyline of Frankfurt—from its historic buildings, streets, and museums to the modern city being shaped today through urban planning and how people live here now. This is a kind of walking tour we had never experienced before. It’s a tour that helps you truly understand a city, making history feel relevant and connected to the present. We were very, very satisfied and are grateful that we got to know Frankfurt in such a meaningful way—all thanks to Hennes. I have a lot of respect for people who take their work seriously and influence others in such a positive way. Thank you!

5.00Wow! Such an amazing walking tour. Hannes (maybe I spelled that wrong) was an absolutely wonderful guide with so much knowledge. It truly felt like we got to see and learn about the whole city in 2.5/3 hours. I cannot recommend this enough.

5.00This 3 hour walking tour of Frankfurt is a "Must See" tour when in Frankfurt. Ann is an outstanding tour guide. She shared with us the extensive history of the Old and New city and brought to life the history of Germany. Her compassion and understanding of the complex history was enlighting.
