Please note that in winter season we do charter boat trips, when regular cruise lines do not operate. On few occasions, i. e. low waters etc. we visit a castle or historic site instead.

Infants and children must sit in a child seat, which means they need a separate seat, no matter which age (legal regulation)

We can only carry foldable wheelchairs with us / Guests need to walk at least a few steps to get on and off the bus

Come with us to one of the most beautiful destinations in Germany: The Middle Rhine Valley. The very spectacular section of the river from Rüdesheim to St. Goarshausen is UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see a good part of it.

After approx. 1 hour we will reach the Rhine Valley by bus. Drive along the river banks, then up the hills. Enjoy a fantastic view over the valley and the beauty of its nature. If you like you can join the delightful ride with the ropeway down into the valley (only for the Full Day Tour and only in summertime), it is available on a small extra fee. Right at the river edge, a short walk leads to the restaurant, a lovely place in Ruedesheim-Assmannshausen. A light lunch is served at this richly decorated and furnished place with original antiquities. Drinks as well as dessert are not included in the lunch arrangements. We will leave the restaurant and walk to the pier to embark one of the typical white Rhine steamer ships. Slowly downstreaming the most beautiful part of the valley passengers will enjoy the stunning scenic beauty of the river panorama.

The cruise along the Rhine was lovely. The tour guide was very good and adjusted our tour to take in a chairlift because we were running early. Lunch was okay but not really authentic. It more like frozen chips and chicken schnitzel.

The guide was super knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. However, he told the same jokes 2-3 times. The disappointment came with the wine tasting. All of us on the us thought we'd be going to a vineyard. Instead, we went back to the restaurant we ate lunch at and they had pre-poured tastings waiting. They had 4 - one ounce shot glasses that had maybe a thimble full of wine in them. Hardly enough to taste. The wines were not cheap to buy. $34 -48 Euros a piece. We didn't get enough wine to taste to even know if we liked it. They said we could buy the wine with a credit card. However, at lunch our waitress told us we couldn't pay with credit and had to pay cash. The folks at our table paid for us because they had the cash in Euro's and then we paid them US dollars back. Others on this tour were able to pay for their lunches with credit card, but again our waitress told us they didn't take them. So, we were disappointed with the restaurant and the wine tasting. The included short trip on the Rhine was highly worth the beauty of it.

This was a fun tour. Our guide was so nice and funny and the boat on the Rhine was a delight. Lunch and the wine tasting were good as well, but the cruise was the star of the day. We enjoy smaller groups like this one and would recommend this tour.

Such a great trip. The views were amazing and the castles were beautiful. I'd definitely do this again.
