Please note that in winter season we do charter boat trips, when regular cruise lines do not operate. On few occasions, i. e. low waters etc. we visit a castle or historic site instead.

We can only carry foldable wheelchairs with us / Guests need to walk at least a few steps to get on and off the bus

Come with us to one of the most beautiful destinations in Germany: The Middle Rhine Valley. The very spectacular section of the river from Ruedesheim to St. Goarshausen is UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see a good part of it. Tour departure and return place is Frankfurt. We leave by bus or van and you will be accompanied by an English speaking tour guide throughout the day. Only approx. one hour away from the hectic of urban living you will enjoy a magnificent panorama: the winding loops of the lower mountain ranges, the small traditional villages, the steep terraces of the vineyards and so many medieval castles on both sides of the banks.

We will take a lovely and relaxing ride on one of the steamer boats on the river. It is just one of the highlights during this excursion with an average duration of 1 to 1,5 hours. Close to the river edge: Our restaurant for lunch (full day) or dinner (half day), an extraordinary, richly decorated place place and a good choice for a light or hearty meal in between. Your tour guide will let you know more. Also included: an entertaining lesson in the history of wine growing dating back to ancient Roman times taking place in a cosy tavern along with some small tastes of local wines.

3.00Comfortable and informative trip. Our guide was excellent and the cruise was a pleasant experience. The lunch and wine tasting experience were below expectations and brought down the overall trip from 4 stars to 3. The restaurant was like flea market, full of cheap stuff and the wine tasting, barely a sip of wine per tasting. For the price of the package, I expected a lot more from lunch and wine tasting. It would have cost the tour company only few more $s to elevate the experience.

5.00Must do trip. Rhine views are just stunning, plus we had a great jolly driver who made the trip all the more enjoyable. Lunch was sumptuous. Overall a day well spent!!

5.00Scenic cruise along the Rhine with many castles and quaint villages. Eclectic and fun little restaurant with good food and tasty regional wines we had to bring home. Beautiful local Christmas Market to get in some last minute shopping. And our guide Michael was fun and informative.

5.00This is a pretty tour! The only less positive aspect was the food. The lunch was not good. They gave us options but still not good food. I tried the different options and they were not good. The tour guide was excellent
A quiet trip on the Rhine

4.00We wanted to see a bit of the Rhine while in Frankfurt. This is a good time of year to go if you don't like crowds. We were part of a small group, and that was nice. It's not a great time of year if you don't like the cold and if you prefer more colorful scenery. The drive was pleasant, Willy (our guide) was knowledgeable and humorous, the lunch was tasty, the boat ride on the Rhine was beautiful, and the overview stop at the end gave great views over the valley. I would not do this in the winter again.

4.00Our Guide Willey was knowledgeable, entertaining and a good driver. Cruse was interesting and did get to experience the loghts along the river as trip was at the end of Nov. lunch and wine tasting were uninspired. Fall or spring would be recommended but nor winter

5.00My wife, daughter , and I booked this trip and Charles was the best! Not only did he pivot so we could get on a different boat to see the Loreley Rock, he was great with all the sight seeing information and other historical knowledge. The food and wine tasting was amazing and cute. Highly recommend!!! This tour made our trip.

Loved the tour - not so much the guide

4.00The tour itself was fantastic. The scenery at every stop was breathtaking. Our main knock was the guide. He was not the most friendly (he wasn't rude... just not what you'd want from a guide on a tour of this cost). Since my group was 3 people, he only wanted to take a single picture for us and told us to share it (instead of offering to take one on each of our phones). Part of the tour included a stop for lunch at a small restaurant that really felt like had some agreement with the guide. The food was not very good, and the place was insanely cluttered. However I don't want to penalize this tour on the restaurant itself... that is what Yelp reviews are for (for the record, we were not so put off that we left them any negative reviews or anything). We also stopped by the same location on the way back for a wine tasting. I don't expect to get much wine at all on a tasting, but we were only given less 1/4 of a small shot glass worth of 4 different wines. I will say that the wines were very good, but it felt like the guide kept trying to convince us to buy bottles of them to take home. My group just felt like it made the experience uncomfortable while we were there. I did want to leave the review at 4-stars since the guide could've been the reason for what we didn't enjoy. We did another tour with the same company - different guide - and we loved every minute of it (that will be a different review though). I have no doubt had we gotten the other guide on this tour that we'd have left with a 5-star opinion.
