Day tour to the beautiful city of Heidelberg, this historic old city on the Neckar is visited by millions of visitors from all over the world every year.
In our tour we will show you the famous castle in Heidelberg, which has a historical history. The whole structure, the castle and the courtyard are impressive with their ruins and their construction. The castle is several centuries old and offers a wonderful view of the city from its huge terrace. Here you can see one of the largest wine barrels in the world.
After the castle visit we will give you some private time and you can walk through the medieval center and visit the Renaissance Haus zum Ritter and the Heiliggeistkirche.

After about 1 hour drive there we will visit Heidelberg Castle. In our tour we will show you the famous castle from Heidelberg, which has a historical history. The whole structure, the castle and the courtyard impress with their ruins and construction. The castle is several centuries old and offers a wonderful view over the city from its huge terrace. Here you are looking at one of the largest wine barrels in the world.

After visiting the castle we walk through the medieval center to the old bridge and the Karlstor, the Renaissance house to the knight, the Heiliggeistkirche. We drive about 1 hour back to the meeting point.

5.00I would highly recommend the excellent tour to Heidelberg Castle! Our tour guide, Mike, picked us up in time and drove to the castle. During driving, he told us about German history starting from B.C. period. While in the castle, he showed us the best places to take pictures at, explained in details meaning of different buildings in the castle complex, shared interesting historical facts 🤩 Also, we had time to explore the city on our own.

5.00Excellent historical narrative provided by our tour guide Andre made the 1.25 hour drive to Heidelberg go by in a blink! Andre was also a wealth of knowledge during the castle tour. We enjoyed the nearly 2 hours of free time in historic Heidelberg, browsing shops and taking photos. There were many dining options available in historic Heidelberg, so be sure to reserve at least 45 minutes to dine if you are hungry.
