What makes this tour unique is its focus on the real origins of Luxembourg’s wealth — not banks or castles, but the iron and fire that built the nation. You’ll explore authentic industrial landmarks where miners once toiled and engineers reshaped Europe’s steel age. From the soaring furnaces of Belval to the solemn miners’ monument in Kayl or the underground tunnels of Rumelange, every stop reveals how hard labor and innovation forged the country’s prosperity. The route ends in Luxembourg City, where the ARBED headquarters and ArcelorMittal monument link past industry with modern success. This is the only tour that uncovers the Grand Duchy’s transformation from steelworks to a world financial hub — a journey from molten metal to modern wealth.

I really loved this tour — it shows a part of Luxembourg you don’t usually hear about. Instead of castles and old towns, you dive into the country’s steel and mining past, which is actually what built its modern wealth. The stops were super interesting, from the giant furnaces in Belval to the miners’ monument in Kayl and the old tunnels in Rumelange. Walking through those underground passages was a highlight! The tour ends in Luxembourg City by the old ARBED building and the ArcelorMittal monument, which ties the whole story together. If you want something unique, authentic, and a bit unexpected, this tour is definitely worth it.
