What makes this tour unique is its focus on the true origin of Luxembourg’s wealth — not banks or castles, but iron, steel, and human grit ⚒️. You explore authentic industrial landmarks where miners worked underground and blast furnaces once powered Europe’s steel age. From climbing the towering furnaces of Belval to visiting the miners’ monument in Kayl or descending into real iron mines in Rumelange on Sundays, the story unfolds step by step. The journey continues to Luxembourg City, linking industry and power through the historic ARBED headquarters. It ends in scenic Grund, where the modern ArcelorMittal steel monument stands by the waterfall — past and present in one view ✨. This is the only tour that connects Luxembourg’s raw industrial roots with its modern prosperity in one immersive experience.

‼️IMPORTANT 2: Musée de la Sidérurgie is open ONLY on Tuesdays and Saturdays, please plan accordingly.

I really loved this tour — it shows a part of Luxembourg you don’t usually hear about. Instead of castles and old towns, you dive into the country’s steel and mining past, which is actually what built its modern wealth. The stops were super interesting, from the giant furnaces in Belval to the miners’ monument in Kayl and the old tunnels in Rumelange. Walking through those underground passages was a highlight! The tour ends in Luxembourg City by the old ARBED building and the ArcelorMittal monument, which ties the whole story together. If you want something unique, authentic, and a bit unexpected, this tour is definitely worth it.
