  We did a private safari with Riaan in Addo and it was the best decision of our trip. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and spotted so many animals we would’ve missed. His stories, humor, and passion made every moment special. We even booked a second tour the next day – a private Giraffe Walk – which was just as amazing. Riaan also sent us great photos afterward. • Epic Safari Experience: Discovering South Africa’s Wildlife with Guide Riaan

  We had an unforgettable safari experience in South Africa – all thanks to our amazing guide, Riaan. Our day started early with a guided tour through the breathtaking Addo Elephant National Park. From the very beginning, Riaan impressed us with his deep knowledge – not only about the wildlife and the parks, but also about South Africa, its people, and its culture. And the animals we saw – it was incredible! We started the day with elephants and Zebras, then immediately came across lions up close, followed by a rare black rhino, buffalo, kudus, and many different antelope species. All of this just in Addo! In the afternoon, we continued with a tour through the Schotia Game Reserve, and the wildlife sightings didn’t stop: giraffes, zebras, white rhinos, large buffalo herds, elephants again, another lion family, countless antelope, warthogs, a leopard tortoise – and even a hippopotamus. Riaan has an exceptional eye for spotting animals – he would often point them out long before we saw them ourselves. He could tell us everything about each animal: the species, whether it was male or female, how old it might be, and so much more. Every question we had, he answered with passion and detail. What made the experience even more special was that Riaan brought his professional camera, took beautiful photos throughout the day, and sent them to us afterwards – completely free of charge. That was such a thoughtful touch and really showed his dedication. Riaan is not only an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled guide – he’s also a genuinely kind and warm-hearted person. We felt so inspired and comfortable with him that we spontaneously booked another tour with him the very next day: a Giraffe Walking Tour, which was just as magical. If you’re anywhere near the Addo Elephant National Park, we wholeheartedly recommend booking your safari with Riaan. It was one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. Once again, thank you so, so much, dear Riaan – we truly appreciate everything you did for us.

  We had to he most amazing day with the tour operator Riaan, who took us out for a full day of adventure and spotting unspottable animals in both of the parks! He was amazing and really made our day, with his insightful knowledge of the area and all the animals, he really did go over and above to enable us to see as many animals as possible! The morning in Addo and afternoon in Schotia was the perfect combination, with a delicious lunch stop in between! Addo for mainly the elephants and Scotia for such a variety of other animals! Thank you so much Riaan! Highly recommend!!
