Pick up from Mendoza City will be at 8am The ranch is located at the foot of the Andes, a 2 hour drive south from Mendoza city. During the drive, you can observe some of the authentic Mendocinian landscape, such as crops of vegetables and fruit trees, wineries, rivers, and mountains. Upon arrival, a classic Argentinian breakfast will be waiting for you with some homemade bread, marmalades and mate, coffee and tea. We will then proceed to the stables where we are going to match horses and riders according to experience and abilities. Beginners are welcome, and if you are experienced we will make sure you have some fun. The length of the ride will depend on the preferences of the visitor but we suggest a 3,5 hour ride in total. We will stop at the side of the river where we can prepare a traditional "Argentinian Asado" (barbecue) with some of the best Argentinian beef, salad, grilled veggies, and wine from Mendoza. If you have a special request for the menu just let us know, there are many Argentinian dishes that we can prepare. Following lunch, we will ride back to the farm and have some afternoon tea. Please note that our weigh limit is 95k

1.00I booked this activity and was prompted with a list of a hotels in Mendoza for pick up locations. I picked the one closest to Airbnb in central Mendoza.. Viator, at a later point, told me this was supposedly out of range for pickup , but I was not made aware of this at booking or by the supplier. Also, the listing made it seem like they could pick up anywhere in Mendoza. I arrived at 8:00am at the hotel for pickup. After no one arriving to pick us up, I called the listed number 4 times over a 45 minute period, starting at 8:15, with no response. I texted them as well over that time period. I finally called Viator at 8:50, who could not reach the individual either. I decided to cancel the activity at 9:00am. We ended up wasting a day cause this was a Sunday and everything else was booked up and closed. Do not recommend.

5.00Amazing day in the vast open space of the foothills of the Andes. The hosts was fantastic and the horse riding experience excellent. Only second time on a horse and the first for 50 years he made me feel safe and comfortable and tailored the ride to my capabilities. Excellent food in an ideal environment.

5.00Our guide, Jose, made this experience so memorable for my family and me. He made us a delicious breakfast and the most plentiful lunch, lots of vegetables as well as the best steak I’ve ever had! His hospitality made this excursion one we will never forget. He was welcoming and patient with us not being very experienced horseback riders. His ranch had breathtaking views that are perfect for those who want to spend their days outdoors. His ranch has been in his family for four generations, expanding and refining while maintaining informality and intimacy. Strongly recommended!

5.00Jose was an incredibly hospitable man with a lovely ranch. He made us breakfast and we rode the horses in the stunning landscape of the Andes. Jose then made us a fantastic asado which is delicious. He has the most adorable son who helped make sure we were safe on the horses. Thank you Jose and best of luck for the future. 5.00Jose made the experience great! Picked up at the hotel promptly and drove out to his ranch where I met Pinto. Was a beautiful horse and rode well through the Andean foothills. Ate a nice BBQ in front of a rushing stream. Fun overall and will be back.
