Even though this was not a guided tour, Igna guided us thru Florence showing us all the monuments. He gave us recommendations on restaurants, shops and showed us a few things that we asked about. He was patient and funny and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. We so enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend him as a guide.
Great way to do Florence on your own, but with transportation and plenty of guidance with a map of suggested routes.

Ariana was very knowledgeable about the history of Tuscany on our bus ride from the port to Florence and made the drive go by quickly. This excursion has the option of a meat/cheese/sweets tasting when you get to Florence and then free time, or just the bus ride. We chose just the bus ride but the people who chose the tasting looked good as well

Sabrina was our guide in Florence, and she was excellent! She was very prompt with timing and ensured we got back to the ship (we were cruising) on time. She was really enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and experiences with us all

Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The olive oil tasting place was friendly but then was annoyingly pushy sales wise. The main thing I didn't like was we had to walk into the city as the bus wasn't allowed there, so if anyone has mobility difficulties I would bare this in mind. Overall a good trip and plenty of free time to explore. The bus was given permission to take us directly back to our ship so that was very helpful and saved us getting a shuttle bus back.
