Sreemangal is famous for its tea gardens, which are spread out over miles and provide breathtaking views. Local accompanied guide will show you beautiful tea gardens and you can get to learn about how tea is grown.
You will be offered guided hikes in the Tropical rain forest where you can enjoy the natural beauty and learn about the different wildlife species.
Another highlight of this tour is the Lake of lotus, a serene body of water surrounded by lush greenery. Lawachara National Park
Start with our English speaking eco tour guide for hiking/trekking at the Tropical Rain Forest which is a reserved forest and conservation of wildlife. You'd love to hear the singing diversity of different species of birds. One can easily find out monkeys like pig tailed, capped languor, slow loris, gibbons etc. The largest family of gibbons living here and this forest is also called the home of the Holook Gibbon though one should be lucky enough to spot the gibbon. Also visit hilltop Khashia tribal village to learn about their culture. where you can meet different species of monkeys, birds and other rare or uncommon wildlife.
Madhabpur Lake
After lunch visit the Lake of Lotus. On the way to the Lake for miles and miles around you can take pictures as much as you like of the Tea Gardens like a green carpet on the sloping hills. A visit to the Tea Plantation would be a memorable experience. Surrounded by rolling hills and forests, Madhabpur Lake is one of the most pristine lakes in Bangladesh. 5.00We stay for a few days in Sreemangal at the Jolpoddo Eco Lodge where we feel very comfortable. Our host Tapas, who is himself an experienced guide of the Green Leaf group, recommended this tour with Ronnie Roi. It was a beautiful and very varied day, we could see three different monkey species in the national park, butterflies, three species of squirrels, a lemon garden, the cultivation of different other plants and of course the picturesque tea gardens. Also the beautiful lake surrounded by tea fields near the Indian border. Through Ronnie we got insights into the lives of different village communities and their ways of life without feeling like intruders. Each section was a suggestion, the pace, the focal points, the location and duration of lunch, everything was completely adapted to our wishes and needs. We were traveling with a Tuktuk driver who connected with Ronnie, dropped us off and picked us up again as it suited us. Ronnie had a great feeling for the right times in the different places, was reserved but always present and ready to answer any questions, with a fine sense of humor after we got to know each other a bit better. Thank you for this extraordinary experience!

5.00I had the most incredible tour in Srimangal — it truly exceeded every expectation! We explored the lush tea gardens, wandered through the beautiful national park, and enjoyed every moment surrounded by nature. Everything was perfectly organized: comfortable transportation, great timing, and such smooth logistics that I didn’t have to think or worry about anything at all — just enjoy. Our guide was absolutely wonderful: knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the area. Thanks to him, every stop felt meaningful and special, not just another “tourist place.” But the real highlight was the amazing organizer, Tapas. He helped me with absolutely everything — transport, every single meal, any small question or need. I honestly felt like a princess the whole time. He is the kindest person I’ve met in a country full of incredibly kind people — maybe even the kindest person I’ve ever met in my life. His care and attention made this experience truly unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly. If you are coming to Srimangal, do it — and if you can, do it with Tapas!

5.00I visited the region for two days with the guide Pankaj and it was simply wonderful. Besides the park and the tea plantations , we also visited the tribes of the region ...which would be impossible to do without a guide . I recommend

5.00I had a wonderful time with Green Leaf Eco Tourism during my stay in Bangladesh. Tapas was superb guide and really made my stay interesting and comfortable in both Sreemangal and Barishal. He explained a lot about Bangladesh, the food, the people, and culture. The village tours were great because we could interact with the local people and get a feel for how people live in Bangladesh. He introduced me to Mr. Onto who arranged a boat trip through the deltas in Barishal where we visited floating markets and experienced life along the river. I highly recommend Green Leaf Eco Tourism if you go to Bangladesh.

5.00All the participants were very satisfied with this tour. Every place we experienced with Tapas's explanation was fantastic. He is a expert guide who was familiar with Sillett's ecotourism. Be sure to experience this tour, especially if you are a foreign tourist. His restaurant is also very good. I sincerely recommend everything and hope you all have a great trip-!
