The Polish food tour is a unique way to experience the must-try of the cuisine of this amazing country. During the Polish Food Tour, you will have the opportunity to taste more than 10 varieties of Polish food along 3 to 5 restaurants in the historical centre of the city. Guided by a foodie expert that will teach you about everything that you will be trying from the ingredients to its history to how it is made and how and why it makes part of Polish culture. If you want to know what to eat in Poland this is the way to go, you try so many different things that make part of Polish gastronomy history and traditional flavours that you will become an expert on Polish food.
You will be given after the tour, an interesting booklet about the experience you had, with recipes, cultural facts and other suggestions of things to do and try in Warsaw.
The amount of food you will have along the tour can be considered as a full meal, so please come hungry to enjoy everything you have to taste.

2.00We appeared to have gotten a substitute tour guide at the last minute which may have accounted for some of the disappointment with this tour. I do want to say that I had let them know ahead of time that my daughter was a vegetarian and they were able to accommodate her at each location. The tour was supposed to provide a history of the food that we were sampling, but our guide offered very little information and generally only when asked a question. The tour description says that we would be "learning it's history, culture and all the background for each individual dish that we will try." We learned essentially nothing about the food itself and very little about the establishments in which the food was served. The food itself (I won't give away spoilers on what we sampled) was excellent at the first stop which was a great start, however, the subsequent selections were mediocre. The pictures shown in the Viator booking were in no way representative of what we actually experienced. For the price we paid, we would have been better off finding establishments ourselves and Googling the history of both the establishment and the food. A different tour guide might have helped make it a little more enjoyable, but it wouldn't have changed the food offerings (one of which was just shots at a bar). This was a disappointing use of our time and money.

5.00Louis was a wonderful guide. He said he just started doing this in the last few months but he was extremely knowledgeable. The food and drinks in the 5 places we went were all good. We let Louis know that we needed to walk slower than he was used to and he slowed down; we only had one other couple on the tour who were glad to walk slowly and talk. Rosa was on the tour as a trainee and she also gave us lots of information. Overall an excellent tour.

3.00All the food we had was good. I was disappointed because I knew more about Polish food and culture than our guide. Our guide was so kind and sweet but she had only lived in Poland a very short time and didn’t know anything about Polish food or culture. It was a disappointment for how much the tour cost. I have done food tours around the world in many different countries and unfortunately this was one of the worst :(
