Take advantage of a round-trip transfer from Warsaw. When you arrive at the site, you will embark on a 3.5-hour guided group tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau with a English speaking Guide. Start in the Auschwitz concentration camp and learn about how it was established by German Nazis on the outskirts of the town Oswiecim in 1940.
After this, head over to the Birkenau section of the concentration camp. Discover how, in 1941, 3 km from Oswiecim, in the former village of Brzezinka, the German Nazis established a new camp called Auschwitz II Birkenau. In 1942-1945, approx. 1.5 million people lived and died here. In 1979, Auschwitz – Birkenau Concentration Camp was listed as a UNESCO World Culture and National Heritage Site.

You will see Auschwitz and Birkenau Camps with the local English-speaking guide. Sightseeing will take around 3.5 hours and it is a group sightseeing. We start from the hotel (or apartment) in Warsaw in the morning. Pick up time depends on the time that we have the entrance to the Museum in Auschwitz and is confirmed one day before the tour. Journey from the pickup point to the attraction takes 3.5 hours - 4 hours one way. Total sightseeing time is around 3.5 hours. After sightseeing we start journey back to Warsaw, another 3.5-4hours travel time. If you need, the driver stops for the lunch on the way. Total tour takes around 12 hours.

5.00What a wonderful adventure. The tour operators were very helpful and flexible with making changes to our pickup arrangements. They are experts. Special recognition to Maciek, our driver. He was spectacular! Our pickup and drop off times were within one minute of the projected schedule for our 12-hour journey. He was so pleasant, courteous, and provided all the information needed for our tour. He is a “five-star” person. Thank you also to Michal and the rest of the tour guides. Highly recommend this them when visiting Warsaw. Thank you.

5.00The experience was amazing. My only complaint would be that when I booked the experience all the reviews I read said pick up was around 7-8 am. The reason I decided to pay more was for the later pickup as all the other tours started much earlier. However, we didn’t get our pickup time until the day before and it was at 4:50am. We had reservations for dinner the night before that I couldn’t cancel so we were very exhausted on the tour. We were told also that during the summer there could be pick ups as early as 3am so just be mindful of that. Other than the pick up time, the tour was great and Agnes was amazing.

5.00While visiting Auschwitz is difficult, Oskar, our tour guide at the camp, was terrific. He is probably one of the best guides that I have had in terms of providing historical context during a tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking to learn more about this critical time in our history.
