Chopin Concerts at The Fryderyk Concert Hall
The Fryderyk Concert Hall at 15 Podwale Street, Warsaw’s Old Town, is the city’s most elegant musical venue. Designed to recreate 19th-century salons, it features plaster stucco, crystal mirrors, and chandeliers. Located near Chopin’s sister’s home, where his heart once rested, it offers a historic, intimate atmosphere.

Pianists from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and top institutions like Juilliard and Royal Academy of Music, many laureates of international competitions, perform here.
Chopin’s Masterpieces
Recitals feature works like the Revolutionary Etude, “Heroic” Polonaise, “Raindrop” Prelude, nocturnes, virtuosic etudes, and more.

5.00The pianist was extremely talented. We enjoyed watching her fingers working fast over the piano keys. The concert was only a bit over an hour and had a break for juice or wine.

5.00this was perfect in every way. the room was beautiful, and the concert was exceptional and intimate. And I honestly appreciated that it was only one hour long --- short and sweet -- because we wanted to enjoy other sites in the city. I really recommend this.

4.00Having arrived a little early, I was disappointed to find that we had to wait outside with no shelter, fortunately the weather was OK for that. The pianist was excellent and the candlelight real. There was a brief introduction not including anything about the music. Lovely setting. The whole event lasted less than one hour and that included an interval during which we were served a fairly sweet glass of fizz. There was no encore and we were ushered out. As I crossed the street, the clocks were chiming 10pm after a 9pm concert time.
