The trip is unguided, you may just board the funicular. You find the location/GPS of the departure station on Google and on the Jungfrau Railways website. The great journey starts not far from Interlaken Ost station and leads through a charming forest and through a wildlife park. If Interlaken had a king, he would reside on the Harder Kulm. From the viewing platform at 1,322 metres above sea level, you will graciously look down upon Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, or admire the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Visit the “Two-Lakes-Bridge” and an airy viewing platform with a glass area in its floor. Restaurant can't be missed as looks like a small castle and is open also during evening time. In order to visit it, however, you don't need to be a king – just take a seat in the funicular and ascend Interlaken's own mountain!

We did not go. Our transportation to the hotel was canceled. When we finally got to our hotel I called the activity and the lady Stephanie was rude and unhelpful, we didn’t have the address and she was extremely unhelpful. She told us we had 45 mins to get to the place or we would not be able to go. We attempted to reschedule she was rude saying we should have booked it with them and not a 3rd party. I called Viator explained what happened and they said we were unable to rebook or get a refund. I will never use these services again.

The restaurant staff and the funicular staff needs to understand that the people come up there and gets too occupied with the surroundings beauty and engrossed taking family pictures.

My visit to Harder Kulm in Interlaken was truly unforgettable ❤️ one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Taking the funicular up the mountain felt like rising straight into a fairytale. When I reached the top, the view took my breath away ❤️ the whole of Interlaken lay below, with Lakes Thun and Brienz glimmering on each side, and the mighty Alps standing tall in the background. Visiting in autumn made it even more special. The trees were painted in shades of gold, orange, and red, and the cool mountain breeze carried that fresh, peaceful feeling only nature

It is not worth climbing if there is some cloud or it is cloudy! Why can't you see anything! And then you have to queue up to get down... honestly not worth the expense

Took the funicular up to about 1400m. There was quite a bit of people taking photos on the ledge overlooking Interlaken. It was a great thing to do in the evening. Was not too cold and I would do it again. They even have a little restaurant.

Perfect way to begin your stay in Interlaken. Gives you a good perspective of the area. But be sure the clouds aren't in the way!

We had a great experience! We went during sunset (arrived to station at 6pm) on a Saturday night and waited about 30 minutes in line for the cable car to the top. It is then a few minute walk uphill to the restaurant and lookout. We waited about 10 minutes in line at the lookout to get our picture. We then had a drink inside the restaurant with the great view. If you have plans for after this experience, be sure to leave plenty of time, as there is also a line to take the cable car back down to Interlaken. We got in line about 8:00pm and waited about 45 minutes to get in a cable car.

Went up mid day. Was busy and they really cram you like a sardine in the funicular but it's a fairly quick ride up (about 8 minutes) and very pretty once up there. Restaurant wasn't insanely priced like I expected but we only got drinks. Great view of both lakes and cool to watch paragliders!

This was our first of many mountain excursions and we were in awe of the view. Easy train ride up with views of Interlaken and the para sailing. Restaurant delicious. Worth doing!
