We had the absolute best time with Captain Kate and First Mate Wendy!!! They were so personable, knowledgeable, and funny! The hoat tide alone was wonderful. We had a great time on mystery island and saw a ton of dolphins. Perfect experience!

We had a great experience on the Hilton Head dolphin tour with Lowcountry Watersports—even though the dolphins decided not to show up! Our crew, Kate and Wendy, were awesome—super friendly, informative, and made the trip really fun from start to finish. The boat ride out to Disappearing Island was beautiful, and exploring the island was such a unique experience. While we were there, a storm started rolling in, and Captain Kate made a quick and smart decision to leave early and reroute us to Harbourtown Marina to keep everyone safe. It was clear we were in great hands. Lowcountry Watersports had a team ready at the marina to drive us back to our original departure point—great communication and coordination the whole way through. Even though we didn’t spot any dolphins this time, the tour was still a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

We loved seeing dolphins and brought home a few sea shells! No luck finding a starfish—except for one little guy missing a few tentacles. Our captain and our tour guide, Meredith, were awesome!

It was a great experience! The boat was very accommodating and the staff were very friendly! … Wish we would have had a lil more time on the island… our boat only had approx 10-12 min and other boats had 20-22 min. The island was spectacular! Recommendation(s) : be sure to let guests know that they have an option to swim IF they choose to go in the water (so swimsuits are optional). And to let guests know if they are traveling with family/friends to request the same boat. Our 2 families booked the trip thinking there was only 1 boat per time slot and assumed we would be on this adventure together. It would have been nice to have known prior to ask to be on the same boat.

The boat ride to the disappearing island was enjoyable. However, we arrived to the island at 1:52 and were told we needed to be back at the boat to load at 2:05. We did not have very long at all on the island. We did not find any starfish or sand dollars, but I did see some people had found some. We were able to see dolphins on the way back to the marina. Overall, it was an enjoyable excursion, but the disappearing island was not all that it was hyped to be. This could have been due to the warm water temp or that there were already alot of people there when we arrived.
