The Route of Lake and Paraguayan Culture is a unique experience that connects the history, art and landscapes of Greater Asunción.

The tour begins in Areguá, famous for its artisanal ceramics and picturesque historic center. There you can visit Cerro Koi, declared Natural Heritage of Paraguay, and enjoy an unparalleled view of the natural environment.

The Church of Our Lady of the Candelaria of Areguá has its origins in 1862, built on the former oratorio of the Mercedarios. It became the center around which the city of Areguá grew up, making it a historical and spiritual landmark, its location in "La Loma" offers a privileged view of Lake Ypacaraí.

Finally, the tour culminates on the shores of Lake Ypacaraí

Very good experience touring Aregua and knowing more about the local culture, certainly one of the best things I did during my stay in Paraguay! Highly recommended! Transfer is on a good mobile!
