  We celebrated the New Year in Hoi An in cool weather. I loved the atmosphere. Let me tell you a little bit about this tour.This tour turned out to be a really enjoyable social experience as well as a cultural one. Our group had people from different countries, but the small size made it easy to chat and connect as we walked. The route through lantern-lit streets and hidden corners of the old town felt relaxed and unhurried. Food stops were spaced out nicely, with simple local dishes that were easy to enjoy while listening to stories about Hoi An’s past and daily life. The guide kept things light and engaging, which helped everyone feel comfortable. It was the kind of evening that felt warm, easy, and genuinely memorable.

  This night walk felt very different from typical food tours we’ve done before. Instead of rushing between busy spots, we explored quieter alleys and softly lit heritage areas, which made the experience feel more personal. What stood out most was the storytelling; learning about Hoi An’s history, daily life, and traditions added depth to every stop. Ending the evening in a peaceful courtyard with tea was a lovely way to slow down. A gentle, intimate way to experience Hoi An after dark.

  This food walk was a highlight of our stay in Hoi An, especially for the food. I didn’t expect to love the banh mi this much , fresh, and full of flavour, easily one of the best I tried on this trip. The banh xeo was another favourite, crispy and cooked right in front of us, which made it even better. Everything felt local and affordable, not touristy at all. Walking through lantern-lit streets between food stops made the experience feel magical. A perfect mix of food and atmosphere.

  It's been a week since I joined this tour, but I still feel satisfied with the trip.We really enjoyed how easygoing and personal this night food walk felt. The pace was relaxed, with plenty of time to enjoy each stop and chat with the group. I loved discovering simple, everyday street food that locals actually eat, especially the banh xeo and grilled snacks that were tasty without being expensive. Walking through small alleys under lantern light gave the evening a calm, special atmosphere. The guide was engaging and humorous, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring Hoi An with friends.

  This tour was such a fun way to spend an evening in Hoi An. We tried so many local snacks along the way, and I was honestly surprised at how affordable everything was — grilled corn, fresh spring rolls, and little bites you’d probably skip if you were walking alone. The banh xeo was a standout for me, crispy and full of flavour, and the nem nuong was delicious too. Our guide was funny and relaxed, making jokes and keeping the group laughing as we wandered through lantern-lit streets. Our group had people from different countries, but everyone mixed easily and it felt very friendly. A great mix of food, culture, and good vibes.

  This night food walk turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our stay in Hoi An. We joined the tour hoping to taste some local dishes, but what we got was a deeper understanding of the town itself. Our guide met us just outside the Old Town and immediately led us away from the busy streets into quiet alleys lit by lanterns. We stopped at several small, family-run eateries where locals were having dinner. Every dish came with a story — from why cao lau noodles can only truly be made in Hoi An, to how certain snacks are traditionally enjoyed in the evening. One unexpected highlight was being invited into an old house to enjoy traditional tea. It was calm, personal and felt like stepping back in time. The evening ended with releasing lanterns on the Hoai River, which was peaceful and surprisingly emotional. If you enjoy food, culture and slower, more meaningful travel experiences, I would absolutely recommend this tour.

  We joined this tour hoping to try local food, but it turned out to be much more than that. Walking through the old town at night, away from the daytime crowds, gave us a deeper appreciation of Hoi An. Every food stop felt carefully chosen, and everything was included, so we could just relax and enjoy. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel personal rather than rushed. The small group size made it easy to ask questions and connect. This tour offered a warm, cultural, and genuinely enjoyable evening in Hoi An. A relaxed, authentic way to experience Hoi An beyond the usual tourist spots. One more small thing: the tour guide was quite funny; it seems like all Vietnamese men are humorous 😂
