Stop Frequency depends on season. Summer is every 20-30 minutes and Winter is every 60-70 minutes (subject to change)

Select Hop-On Hop-Off buses are now equipped to accommodate collapsible/fold-able wheelchairs, walkers and strollers. This enhancement allows all guests to enjoy our Hop-On, Hop-Off tour. However, note that our vintage blue clear-top buses cannot accommodate mobility aids as they do not have the necessary space and safety features.

What To Expect
Duration:1 hour 30 minutes
Operating Schedule:Duration of route is 90 minutes. Hop-On at any stop along the route. May through September: First tour starts around 8:45am, last pick-ups of the day start at 5:00pm. Frequency is every 20 minutes. October through April: First tour starts around 9:45am, last pick-ups of the day start at 3:15pm. Frequency is every 60 minutes. (Schedule and frequency is subject to change.)

4.00If your are lucky enough to have Simon as your driver, you will have a 5 star ride and narration. Otherwise, the recorded narration is tough to understand and not very interesting. We arrived at our initial stop as the bus was pulling up. Unfortunately we were on the opposite side of the street and stuck at the corner traffic light. Despite waving our arms, we were a group of 10 and hard to miss, the driver looked directly at us and left. No problem as the next bus would be along shortly, NOT! 45 minutes later we finally got on a bus. Thankfully, Simon was our driver for the next 7 stops and provided wonderful insights into the neighborhoods. Our next 2 journeys were filled with boring and sporadic narration. The Hop on Hop Off does get you around the many neighborhoods albeit slowly, about 2 hours.

3.00Bad visibility on lower level and it depends on the bus driver. The first half is lovely. After Granville Island the area doesn’t look very safe. Our first driver was Simon. He was incredible. He gave commentary and suggestions about each stop. Our second driver said nothing. We barely heard the stop numbers and we couldn’t see where we were so it was not a good tour.
Disappointed - Usually love hop on/hop off tours.

2.00The tour buses do not allow for a great view of the sites The recording of the tour does not often match with where you are located - telling you to look for things after you are past the location. Frequently, you could not see the location the recording was pointing out at all. The staff at Canada Place gave poor directions to the Olympic Torch sending us around the block in the wrong direction. The interactive map is a poor interface - there were three buses on the map ahead of our stop when we got to the last pick up of the day - they were on stops 1-3 and we needed to be picked up at stop 5 - we were left behind and had to take public transportation back to the hotel. When I called - the last bus didn't stop at our stop, and the other two buses were on some sort of night tour. But they wanted us to rely on the interactive map.

5.00Great route, we saw most of the city and out tour guides were very knowledgeable. One of them, Sherry, had the same jokes for every stop, so if you're riding the entire and you get her, be prepared for some corn!
