Husky Dog sledding tour in Latvia (Riga) – on arrival we will meet our guides and husky dog team. Our guide will give you instructions on how to control the sled and dogs. Become a real Musher!

The Husky dog sledding track is around 3km long. This is an amazing experience that allows you to escape the city, breathe the fresh air and raise your adrenaline in a fast sled dog ride.

After we will have hot drinks and snacks. If snow are not enough for sledges – there is possibility to go with dog-cart! Book in advance!

What a fantastic trip. We were collected from the hotel and taken to the Huskies. The dogs were so friendly, you could stroke them and take photos. We then went on the slay ride with wheels as there was no snow with 6 of the dogs. Afterwards we went for a walk in the woods and then to the Latvian market. Great trip - would recommend.

The tour guide who picked us up was very nice and helpful can’t thank him enough. The husky ride was very fun and the wine tatting after was just as good. I really recommend this trip 10/10

Me and my girlfriend decided to do huskey sledding and it didn’t disappoint . It was an unbelievable and unforgettable experience. Guides were amazing. Our guide Oscar picked us up from our Airbnb and was a brilliant informative and friendly guide. The Husky’s were amazing and to experience how quick the acceleration was unbelievable. They also made us a free video of our experience which was incredible. We can’t stop talking about it!

The dogs were amazing even without the snow it was fabulous to see them enjoying their job, then got to see more of riga. Really friendly guide honestly so amazing

Oskar was our guide for the day and was great! He made a wonderful video of the day and the huskys were amazing. We didnt have snow but the cart was very fun and the staff were friendly and fun. Defiently go.

We had a fantastic time on the Husky Dog Sledding Tour from Riga! A huge shout-out to Ilze and her team, who did an absolutely amazing job and made us feel welcome right away. Even though there was no snow, the ride on wheels was still a lot of fun – exciting, well organized, and a great experience with the huskies. The dogs were full of energy and clearly very well taken care of. What we especially appreciated was how flexible the team was with pickup and drop-off, which made the whole trip super easy and stress-free for our group. Overall, a great experience that we can highly recommend. We’d do it again anytime!

Just over an hours travel from Riga, picked up from our hotel. No snow but that wasn’t a problem we rode on a cart. There were 10 of us each couple got to ride their own cart but only one cart. The dogs were amazing and I can reassuringly say not mistreated or exploited. This family use their dogs to enter competitions. The keen ones get to pull and the ones that are having an off day just stay with the pack. Lots of conversation with the wife while the husband follows you on a bike for safety. To be honest the dogs know what they are doing I just held the handle bar to keep the wheel straight. Mulled wine and Riga’s ‘Covonia’ shots kept us warm. Lots of stroking of the beautiful friendly huskies. GREAT FUN THANK YOU

Jans and team are a gem to work with. Started planning our trip in August with Jans. Five of us travelling from Singapore via Helsinki. He was. exremely responsive and patient. 1st stop was with Lauri receiving us from Tallinn port on a ferry from Helsinki. We had a great time with Lauri with a trip to Jagala Waterfall and the city of Tallinn. Lots of cultural and history lessons on Estonia. Next was with Kristap who drove us from Tallinn to Riga with stops in Parnu and Turaida Castle. Another great trip with lots of stores about Latvia. Jans was in charge of our husky ride in Cesis. A great trip with sight seeing on way through Ligatne. Ski slopes, local villages, ferry crossing, man made caves and wine tasting. Husky rides were really great although there was no snow. The dogs are simply lovely. We had a great time. Next up will be transfer from Riga to Vilnius with stops at Rundale Palace and Hills of Crosses. We are very sure it will be another wonderful trip. All in all, we highly recommend Jans and his team from RigaTours for Baltic travel. We had a great time.
A truly special day and great guide.

Had an amazing day with Jan's, a truly memorable day. Jan's has a great sense of humor and has to be the best tour guide I've ever had. The Huskies were so friendly and was a magical day from start to finish.
