5.00We had the pleasure of having Stephen take us through the best of Hong Kong on our recent visit to the city. With just a few hours in town from our cruise we were delighted to hear the history of Hong Kong and learn Stephen’s personal story. He spoke excellent English and was very easy to understand and listen too. Stephen was very honest about the history and conditions faced by everyday Hong Kongers and shared the great history of this amazing and bustling city. The meeting place at the Central MTR station was very easy to reach as the city’s subway service is very efficient and easy to navigate. Stephen provided us with great insight to how Hong Kong became the banking capital of Asia and also took us through the energetic shopping and eating district where anything you could imagine was available to eat or buy. Hong Free Tours is a great way to see all of the best of Hong Kong on a budget. Just make sure you leave a generous tip for their hard working and knowledgeable tour guides, especially Stephen.

5.00It was a 2 hour tour about the city centre, about the architecture of the different bank buildings, with personal insights as well. In the end we visited a temple and got instructions how to visit it. It was really nice!

5.00It was a great and very interesting tour. The cultural and historical facts covered all manner of subjects. I especially liked the personal experiences the guide shared with us. We were even provided incense sticks to learn a taoistic prayer.

5.00Stephen is an experienced tour guide and extremely friendly! This was great to do on the first day of our hong kong trip as he was able to recommend other stops for food, sightseeing or further tours. Great historical orientation as well.
