Feel the raw power of a working dog team as they surge through the stunning Buffalo River Valley. Then switch gears and glide across pristine snow on our top-of-the-line snowmobiles, exploring miles of beautiful backcountry terrain.

Our dogsledding runs on private trail sections reserved exclusively for dog teams—no snowmobiles, no traffic, just pure wilderness and the sound of runners on snow. And unlike other operators, we’re 20 miles closer to town, meaning less travel time and more time on the snow.

The adventure consists of dog sledding along the Buffalo Fork River, a tributary river which runs in front of the ranch with fantastic views of The Grand Teton Mountains. The views are amazing! You are in the dogsled for approximately 45 minutes. The combo section of the trip is the Snowmobile trip which will take place on the Continental Divide Togwotee Pass recreation area in Bridger-Teton National Forest with wonderful amazing views of The Grand Teton Mountains. The snowmobile section is three hours on snowmobiling. Lunch is not included but may be purchased on site at the cafe. The ranch will call you, but feel free to call us to plan out your experience in more detail such as the time of snowmobiling and dogsledding during the day.

The experience was wonderful! And the staff was great! If book through viator call for your time. Ours said 7:00 on here but time was actually 10.

The dog sledding was FANTASTIC and our dog sled guide was the best part of our day by far! Unfortunately, the snow mobile guide (name: Denver) and experience was horrible. He was very rude and did not have the personality to be in that position.

Dog sled flipped over and our friends were stuck for 30min. Our sled went over to help so our time on sled was cut in half also. Our friends got to do a total of 10min on the sled. Snowmobiling was fun but had huge group of 10-12. And some of the others were much older and we went much slower and kept stopping so we could stay together. I thought food was supposed to be provided, but there wasn’t. For $500/ea, I had higher expectations. Beautiful area and ranch though.

I’m currently fighting with Viator since they tell you the tour starts at 7:30! It does not start at 7:30, but actually 10:30! The ranch said they have contacted several times and Viator refuses to change it! We got up so early to make it there on time and then sat 3 hours waiting!!! Not the ranch fault!

Scenery not to be believed! Pictures don’t do it justice. Thomas, Keith & Zane were most hospitable. Dog sleigh ride was simply amazing ~ truly a bucket list item.

This was our second trip to Jackson Hole and second time snowmobiling. This was by far the BEST experience. We booked dog sledding and snowmobile. Our guide was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! He took us through gorgeous trails. Every employee at the Ranch was exceptional and made sure we had a great experience. I highly recommend booking with Six Heart!

As a experienced Wyoming, Jackson Hole visitor, this was one of the best experiences of all time. The ranch and all it's staff, guides, mushers were extremely accommodating, patient, experienced, efficient and just all the way around great. If you are coming expecting not to be cold or snowed on, don't come, this is a true authentic winter amazing experience, no complainers wanted.
