Small Groups! Explore the gorgeous beaches, islands and wildlife sanctuaries around Kailua Bay by kayak with your choice of a guided or self-guided tour. You can paddle to the Mokulua Islands or Popoia Island (Flat Island) to see bird sanctuaries, snorkel with green sea turtles at Lanikai Beach and enjoy incredible views from the water. Have time to relax on the beach and swim in the ocean as you discover the natural treasures of Oahu during this day in paradise. All kayak and snorkel equipment, lunch and free parking are included on this small-group tour.

Children 15 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult in a double (tandem) kayak
The weight limit for a single-person kayak is 280lbs (127kg) and a double (tandem) kayak is 400lbs (181kg)
Check in is 15 minutes before the tour time.
Customers must be able to transport kayaks to the beach (15 min) on a cart and drag over the sand. They weigh 70lbs.
All guests must be able to swim. Life Jackets are provided.
HOURS: 8-5PM EVERYDAY - will need to return rentals by 5pm

If you Selected Hotel Pick Up and confirmed your pickup time and location, wait for you name to be called at the specified time. If you are driving, park in our lot for free (Kailua Beach Adventures). Meet your guide (If option selected) or your briefing staff for orientation. We will explain the routes and conditions. We have a full retail store and offer 15% off to Viator guests if you need Reef Safe Sunscreen, UV Shirts or souvenirs. Everyone is assigned a locker to store valuables while on the water. Get outfitted with your life jacket, snorkel gear, dry bag and kayaks. Then head out to the beach to start your kayaking adventure! We are located within a 5 min walk of Kailua Beach Park. Your adventure starts and finishes here. We have been in business since 1982, providing sustainable eco-tours in once of the most stunning bays in the world. Kailua Beach Adventures has been recognized three times for having the Eco Tour Guide of the Year for the State of Hawaii.

Kailua Beach is where we launch our kayaks and land upon return. Its well known for being one of the most family friendly beaches on Oahu.

5.00Fantastic time. Beautiful location. Fun for the whole family. BRIAN was amazing. We kayaked to flat island on a very choppy day. Lots of fun in two person kayaks. Then we rode bikes to the beach for snorkeling. Saw lots of fish and sea turtles in a beautiful and picturesque location. We definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get out on the ocean and doesn’t want to have to worry about equipment or multiple tours.

5.00The experience was incredibly enjoyable! However, it's important to be in good physical shape to fully embrace everything it has to offer. If you're not familiar with the nuances of kayaking, there's a chance you could find yourself in a tricky situation quite quickly. Fortunately, the check-in process was straightforward and hassle-free, making it easy to get started. While there is a bit of a trek to reach the beach, the scenic walk adds to the anticipation and is definitely worth the effort once you arrive at the stunning shoreline!

5.00The kayaking was definitely a workout. It was 4.8 miles round trip. Had a great time on the private island but was limited because of a baby monk seal that was born a couple weeks prior. So cute! Definitely recommend for families with kids that are in their teens. Our tour guide Mike was great!

3.00The experience was great for me, however, dragging the kayak back to the store 1/4 of a mile was tough for my wife and an 11 yr old kid since we have a family and needed 2 kayaks. It could be better if they could have a trailer pulled by a truck to bring it down to the location for us like white water rafting. Overall it was fun me for people who are fit and able to DIY.
