Danger Charters is the only tour operator in Key West offering sailing excursions on a historic schooner into the remote backcountry of the National Wildlife Refuge. Our trips are truly small-group, with a max of around 20 guests, so you'll never feel crowded—whether you're snorkeling, kayaking, or relaxing on deck. On the Premium Day Trip, we often stop at a shallow sandbar, a guest favorite for swimming, wading, or just enjoying the view!

What really sets us apart is our crew. They're passionate about what they do, and it shows in the way they lead each activity, share local history, and give fun, informative eco talks. Whether you're brand new to snorkeling or a seasoned paddler, the crew offers guidance, support, and an easygoing atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome.

Wonderful!!! Fresh food very tasty. Lunch was great - sandwiches and excellent curry chicken salad. Plenty of food for all. Enjoyed the snorkeling. Best of all was the kayaking. Very relaxing trip. Thank you!!!

Incredible day on the water. Captain Brian and First Mate Lexie were wonderful and very knowledgeable. The food served was tasty, not too heavy or light. We snorkeled, kayak, met new people and had a lot of fun for the day. With people from Italy and Switzerland on the excursion and everyone had a great time.

This is a great experience. The Captain and Crew were awesome. It is a full day on the water and activities. The day is full of fun from snorkeling to kayaking and In between the crew will give you the history of the Keys, feed you lunch and snacks as well as beer, wine, and soft drinks. They also make sure you are hydrated with water. They are safety oriented and make all levels of snorkeler feel comfortable. You don’t even have to do anything except sit on the boat and enjoy the beautiful blue waters of Key West! The boat is beautiful and adds a level of detail to the experience you can’t find on a pontoon boat. I would highly recommend this experience through Danger Charters. Thank you Danger Charters for a great time.

Great day spent on the sailboat. Plenty of snacks and drinks provided throughout the morning and afternoon. The lunch consisted of sandwiches and plenty of sides. We saw plenty of colorful fish including Angelfish, Grouper, Hagfish, a Barracuda, and stingray. Kayaking around the mangroves was fun and we even got to see a couple of bonnet sharks! The weather was perfect, water clear and smooth, and the guides were very informative, pleasant to talk to, and friendly making this excursion one of our favorites. Highly recommend!
