  Had a really good day I tour Guide Helen was superb. it was just a shame on the day it was very cloudy but the big Buddha was excellent and Helen explained everything very well.

  Really enjoyed the tour Grace our guide was good fun. The fishing village was the highlight of the trip to us, wished we had spent more time there. You get fantastic views from the cable car which I think lasted for about 25 minutes .

  We joined today Lantau island tour good experience, our tour guide Grace fun and good organized tour keep everything on time and under control! Tai O fishing village ride boat trip learned thier culture and history! Big Buddha was amazing at the top 268 stairs , can see full view of Ngong Ping ! Cable car Crystal cabin is better see full view of Lantau island! Highly recommended this tour for anyone!

  Worst tour i ever had with viator. The entire tour was awful. It didn't even include everything. They kept asking for money.

• Lovely trip, worth doing if you are prepared for travelling a bit.

  We really enjoyed the day! It was a bit stressful finding the meeting point initially but found it just in time. Ben was very helpful and informative. We underestimated just how far the trip was covering but had a wonderful day 😀

  If you want a stress free tour don’t do this one. Nothing was explained properly about where to go. At the end of the tour if you’re doing the cable car you’re pretty much on your own. You’re also not told that after the cable car ride that you have to take another one to get to the train station which you have to pay for and then you have to find your way back to Honk Kong central unaided.

  There are several tours available, but this particular one truly delivered on a full day of incredible sights! Our tour guide, Grace, made this trip especially rewarding because she was well organized, provided clear instructions (with pictures) for arriving at the meeting point, engaged the group by sharing lots of history with comical delivery, made sure no one in our group got lost, and kept us on track during the very full itinerary. Well done, Grace! There were additional options for choosing the boat tour in the Tai O fishing village, eating lunch before visiting the Big Buddha, and taking a cable car ride down the mountain at the end of the tour. Not everyone in the group chose all of the extras, but Grace made sure that they knew where to go or suggested alternatives while the rest of the group did the extra activities. The sights were amazing, we met some very nice people in our group, and the day was more than we expected. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a hat/water/snacks. Bring local currency if you want to buy street food or trinkets! The subway transportation requires either an Octopus card (or a Visa credit card also works). The weather for the day was forecasted to be cloudy, but it unexpectedly became foggy/misty on the mountain and the people wearing shorts were wet/cold at the end of the trip. Some reviews complain that the bus transportation to the Tai O fishing village and to the Big Buddha are public (so you could travel by yourself). I disagree. The value of the tour was in having the depth of experience of an enthusiastic guide like Grace to navigate the complexities of getting us to each point, hearing about the history or cultural value of each sight, and making sure that everyone made it home safely. I highly recommend this tour and again extend thanks to our guide, Grace, for making the day so enjoyable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars!!

  Awful tour organisation! The meeting point is very hard to find, it is located underground and you have to pay to enter. Having difficulties to find the meeting point I arrived only 5 minutes later, but the group has already gone. The guide didn't even try to contact me or at least wait a little bit later. I have visited many countries and was on many tours, but this is the first time I face such unprofessional behavior! The Viator team has decided that the fault is fully on my side and didn't refund. The whole situation is a shame! Such awful services!

  Very unorganized. Meet point took us 1.5 hours to find..extra$$ here and there. Tour guide spoke so fast there was no understanding. Waiting for late people at each stop was miserable
